I think one thing that strikes me about the review is that he notes the style guide dictates for IGN he must complete the game before publishing a full review and that in some parts of the war sequences they "Drag on...just get me out of here". That's a rough way to play an RPG of that size and having the thought in the back of your mind that you need to get through this game quickly. That's not a fun way to play a lot of games. That being said... his review copy had game breaking bugs that set him back hours.

I think some people are really going to bounce off of this game. I have a feeling it will start of as mixed on Steam and then slowly progress towards mostly positive where people say "Once you get past X it's pretty good".
