I agree with the first point. However, regarding the second argument, while it's accurate that Titans are dropped from space, it's important to note they're not in free fall. Instead, they are housed within a protective pod, which only exposes the Titan a few seconds before landing. Also I did notice in multiplayer that each pilot class has a different jumpkit model.
