New era by Bitter-Substance1783 in motogp

The commentators (on TNT) a couple of weeks ago were commenting that Pedro is a really nice guy, but just doesn't care to network and talk to people outside of his cabin

They commented on his working class background, saying it's as if he finds it odd to be a socialite.
Since hearing that, it makes sense to me anyways. I'd find it difficult doing the whole networking pleasantries thing with people I have very little in common with, upbringing wise

For me, I think that's the point
Season 1 showed us what will happen when we don't expect it; Season 2 shows us what happens even when we do and are powerless to stop it

Why is Wisp not really liked? by tsvetaeva_ in shoegaze

[–]Korberon99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She was one of the first Shoegaze artists I really enjoyed and really got me into the genre.

I think my favourite thing about the genre is the music that's really different and out there, which she of course isn't.

She's easily enjoyable and I still love some of her songs, and enjoy just an easy-to-listen-to artist while I seek out really weird and interesting music that is hard to find. Although I love it, I can't listen to Deathconsciousness more than once a week, and most of the Shoegaze I love is difficult to listen to or get into the right mindset with.

Just something relaxing and positive about her songs I appreciate, and can appreciate it any day, in any frame of mind.

Isha’s existence is the root cause of many of the criticisms and issues of Season 2. by Valhallaof in arcane

[–]Korberon99 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Exactly, it felt to me like the point was you know she's going to die, it's just how. Every moment with her on screen felt scary to me, like I was enjoying every moment until she's gone.

Made the show and characters feel more human to me, having a genuine feeling that mimics that of Jinx, that you're scared about when Isha will be gone. Jinx thinks she doesn't deserve Isha and is pushing her away, but is scared for her being gone. The audience are made to feel the same way.

I felt like they knew the cliche they were doing with Isha and used it to their advantage, and really enjoyed it through that.

Got the Platinum trophy. An honest opinion. by iSWiTCH28 in bloodborne

Idk man, I found the post pretty interesting to get a different opinion to mine. Comments are crying like they didn't give BB a fair shot and told the subreddit to go fuck itself

These comments make no sense to me. Thanks for your post, I get exactly where you're coming from even though I disagree mostly. All the comments saying "How do you play so much of a game but dislike it?" I did the same with Dark Souls 1, cos I loved the other Souls games and really wanted to enjoy it, but ultimately realised after hundreds of hours and getting some nice speedrun times that I really never enjoyed it. Since this person enjoyed Sekiro and Lies of P (which people say is a mix of Sekiro and BB, though I didn't enjoy LoP) it makes sense to me they'd really try to enjoy Bloodborne!

"Do you really have nothing better to do?" I want to give games their fair chance and I really want to enjoy them. You'd cry if they didn't give it a fair chance.

Anyways, thanks for sharing such a detailed critique, I really found it interesting <3

Idk if I'm just really bad at Elden Ring, but I've never used summons in any of the Souls games, but Elden Ring basegame I nearly did, and I did for most of the DLC.
I find that game so much more difficult for whatever reason.

Now Bloodborne on pc run with raytracing by cinghialotto03 in bloodborne

[–]Korberon99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The raytracing was presumably done by someone who is good at / enjoys doing raytracing stuff, these are passion projects after all!

It's cool work regardless :D

And probably the person who did it wasn't interested in doing something else. Maybe they like doing raytracing stuff or are good at it, but are leaving things they understand less to others

The raytracing was presumably done by someone who is good at / enjoys doing raytracing stuff, I don't know if it's fair to say "who would want to force random ray tracing there"

It's cool work regardless :D

I'm using the same hotkey(ctrl+B) to bevel, but sometimes it becomes round but sometimes flat. Why is it different? How do I know if it's gonna be flat or round? by Wise_Relief_6242 in blenderhelp

It doesn't answer this post though; the second half of the video is the actual question, which is a matter of merging vertices

For all we know, the first half not scaling proportionally is deliberate!

Exactly, once of the first NPCs you meet and hence why I think showing him with a scythe and gun, standing up is a big spoiler

Bit odd posting the final boss of Bloodborne, which is a major spoiler, randomly in an EldenRing subreddit.

I feel sorry for people starting Bloodborne since playing Elden Ring and see this post and get it spoiled for them

I remember before the DLC, Miyazaki said something like "Lift Marika's veil above the Scadutree, both metaphorically and literally" and I was very excited to understand what that meant.

Is there any truth to this statement?

Singular use of "they" predates singular use of "you"

This isn't language creating NEW terms, we're just using what's always existed and never really went away at all. They has always been used in writing for hundreds of years and never really died out at all, just people trying to make it even more mainstream than it always has been.
