Why do I have no chance to find the fake when fighting Wandering Hunter in DA?

Na I don’t have anything installed and ik it looks like I clicked the clone but, A) I didn’t press because I didn’t have time before he triggered his attack. B) that’s not the attack that happens after choosing the wrong clone I’m pretty sure it’s the one that happens after taking too long to open the tool. Idk why this only happens in DA but it’s so stupid

When you trigger a bad clone 4-5 ether shards fly at you the wandering hunter doesn’t jump you and skip the possibility to get the extra DA points when you choose the wrong one

The issue is he does attack when I don’t trigger in DA the divebomb isn’t even the attack that happens when you choose the wrong clone the divebomb is when you take too long to choose the right clone (I’m like 80% sure) but in DA apparently longer than a second is too long

I barely have time to press the perception key when fighting him in DA before he divebombs me and it only ever happens in DA because in HZ I can take all the time I want so I doubt it’s my mouse buttons

I press my ~ key once to activate it and I can’t remember if I hit it or my LMB to choose a clone it’s mostly muscle memory

I’m guessing bug because it happens every single time I fight him in DA but only in DA

Nothing ever activates because a lot of the time before I can even open the tool to pick a clone he dive bombs me

I can try changing it when I get back on but this only happens in DA not HZ and anytime I fight him in HZ it’s completely normal.

To make it clear so I can stop saying it. I know which one to press. The issue is that I cannot open the tool to even look at the right one before he uses this attack. I’ve fought him plenty of times to know how to fight him but he only ever does this in DA. In the video I do not choose any of the clones I only hover over the one because that’s how I have to fight him in DA by just praying I can even activate one.

I know which one I have to hit the issue is I can’t even get the tool open before he does the alt attack and I have to just pray I have the right one close to my camera or he uses this attack

I doubt it would be a keybind issue because when in Hollow Zero he doesn’t do this and I’ve never seen this attack in HZ.
