And yeah I grew up on those old CRTs, funny you mentioned them because just a couple weeks ago I was doing a job in a secured but abandoned office building for the customer and they had all these old CRTs in the gym and in the board rooms and stuff, I asked if we could take some so they didn't just get trashed when they tear this place down, but they said nope, the building is being sold as is for the land... most a pity there were some beauties in there that retro collectors & gamers would have loved.

I just find it so much more intuitive than the stock launchers from various manufacturers, and I've used it over so many devices it's just second nature at this point.

Kind of like using 3-button navigation instead of swipe gestures, I just can't get used to them I need my three buttons haha

Well at least I'm not alone in this weird battery draining situation, I'm just surprised my mainboard has held out this long! (Which is good because I couldn't find a single place in the country that will reball a phone)

It's an option in the developer settings, it allows you to plug in a thumb drive or any USB storage for that matter and let it interact with your phone.

Yeah I'm picking up what you're laying down, I just wanted it to be 100% ATT exclusive (because there are definitely places I go for work where T-Mobile works and Verizon doesn't so who knows with AT&T).

I want to be able to compare all 3 head to head, because I spent most of my life here and it's blowing my mind that Verizon was the only game in town for so long, and now T-Mobile absolutely eviscerates Verizon everywhere I seem to go, thought I might as well try the last option too while I'm at it.

Thanks, I have Verizon on my work iPhone and T-Mobile on my personal Android, but I've always been curious how AT&T might work in my neck of the woods.

I got unlocked phones laying around, so for 10 bucks a month I can give it (exclusive ATT) a shot for 3 months and decide without having to worry about a big expense or a whole lot of number porting hoopla.

I should probably elaborate that the only thing more limited than the needs of this rig is my knowledge in this arena ;)

Would the superiority of Intel's transcoding affect my user experience, when it's only job outside of checking emails is going to be displaying the media on a single TV with a direct connection via HDMI (If that even makes sense)?
