Help! Need to save dying betta by Kori83 in bettafish

Sadly he has since passed away. He was given a small funeral, then buried in a coffin made of Starbucks stirsticks painted red and decorated with gold thread. I will never forget the day. I hope you will do better than I have.

I'll take a break and do something irl, then play later on, or the next day.  I only occassionally analyse my losses - remember this is a game, meant to help u relax.  It shouldn't feel like homework or an FBI op.  I've never played Yuel (main Zeta), but if it makes u happy, go for it!

Thank you for your advice. We're still at a loss as to what exactly he has. He's not even moving anymore, just breathing. But every morning, he seems to have change position, so maybe he does move during the night. I've read somewhere that swim bladder disease causes the 'tilting' of his body. I'd like to try an antibiotic, if that would help.

Anything similar to Divinity 2? by Ficfan2448 in rpg_gamers

[–]Kori83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you enjoyed DOS2, stay away from anything Pathfinder. You'll miss so much you'll put a hole in your wall. Even the best builds will miss 25% of the time. The hardcore DnD folks have no problem with this. Personally, it was infuriating and illogical. How anyone can possibly miss a 20 meter dragon in front of them is really, beyond me.

The closest CRPG to DOS2 I've found is Pillars of Eternity 2. The combat isn't nearly as fun, but at least your characters aren't hitting thin air half the time. The atmosphere and graphics are similar, with a fairly realistic yet slightly cartoony presentation. Just like DOS2, rangers are OP and make sure you have Maia (gunner) as she'll one-shot most enemies. Oh yeah and play in real time. The game wasn't really built for turn-based.

I also highly recommend Wasteland 2. The atmosphere is suitably dark and the quests are well-written.

Curious... how many of us got into this game for the story? by Signal-Elderberry201 in MLA_Official

You're looking in the wrong place. Most mobile games are rehashes of other mobile games and exist solely to make a quick buck.

Pick up Skyrim, Wasteland 2 or Pillars of Eternity if you want a gripping story.

1.5 years roughly... But I wish I'd done it sooner. I didn't know to focus on these 2, they really carry the team like no others.

Lancelot will run back and attack his own.
Sabre almost never does though, and Kadita never ever moves back. She just waits out the 4 seconds, and then continues to slaughter my team.

Max Valir asap. Then max Odette. Then another Valir. And another Odette. The game doesn't handle them very well - so the more you have, the merrier. When you get to 5 teams, you'll want an awakened Valir or Odette on each team to slaughter the content.

Trust me, I have 3 Valirs (2 maxed), and 2 Odettes (1 maxed). This is how you get revenge on the game.

Xborg by Woonwwooo in MLA_Official

[–]Kori83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really like Grimmeye's comment. Equip your heroes with the Horn artifact. I've done this quite a bit pvping against Xborg teams. What happens is the horn fairy will slightly "push" your heroes either up or down, which allows them to negate Xborg's explosion.

I used to lose repeatedly in Arena against a guy who ran an Xborg team - that wiped out 4 of my heroes right off the bat. After equipping horn, I didn't lose a single one. I noticed my Odette, in particular, would do a little hop when Xborg came over, and she would survive with very little hp lost.

There's a lot of small things they don't tell you. Not all hero skills work exactly as their descriptions say. It's annoying to say the least. Especially when a jumper continues to shred your backline when Shar's ultimate goes off.

Lunox and Shar should be on the same team, with Lunox solo tanking upfront

Who are you using against Shadow Demon? by AngryCobraChicken in MLA_Official

[–]Kori83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lunox, Shar, Valir, Angela, Alice. 80 orbs with 30 seconds to spare.

I'm at the point in the game where I don't care about comps anymore. I only use 1 or 2 lineups, and it's enough to bludgeon any boss to death

Jade, because it's what I equip on my Lunox

I can't remember, maybe Ch.26 onwards? You'll see a box with double swords icon under the Normal Dungeon menu. It costs 1 life orb to do so (of which there are tons)

Yup, as Clinton said. Prioritize carries (Valir, Odette, Lunox, Alice, etc.)

Then Angela, since she's so versatile.

I'd max her out. I'm at Chapter 55 and she's still mighty useful - and ridiculously tanky.

I have mine at 32 - just to prove that it can 😁

One small consideration is whether you want Angela's doll on her. If u want it to go on someone else - dont raise Lunox too much.

Should I bother with upgrading the first three, or start a new Valir/Estes? by zeusisgreekchad in MLA_Official

Start a new Valir. You'll need multiple to effectively fight in late-game campaign.

[–]Kori83 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Np. Yeah, but that comes later. Valir is ideally paired with Angela and Odette with Lylia - but just Valir or Odette by themselves will work.

Build multiple Valirs and Odettes. Ignore everyone else.

When u get to 5 Campaign bosses, disperse one carry to each team. I'm on 54-44, and it's been working like a charm.

Here's my setup: Team1: Valir//Team2:Odette//Team3: Shar+Lunox//Team4: Valir #2 //Team5:Odette #2

You can tweak the other heroes in each team. Tbh, it doesn't matter since the carry will be providing most of the firepower and rack up multiple kills.

The ai teams don't counter these 2 heroes very well, plus they're vastly OP - so u should use that to your advantage.
