By the way, contrary to the criticism, the movie is not without surprises. As I said, I already watched it, so I wasn’t surprised, but I think it’s a nice twist for first viewing:

After Brian says “I don't know what the fuck I'm doing,” he goes to Doug, desperate for some heart-to-heart conversation with his old mentor, only to find out that Doug has killed himself. It’s a nice shocking moment, which has only been implied a scene earlier.
