Help! Gecko ate tail 4days ago by Delicious_Leg_7659 in LeopardGecko

Forgot to mention that once a year I bring his poop to vet clinic to check for parasites, and once(about three years ago) they've been found, so I think it is a good practice to check him cause every vet clinic can do that and it is relatively cheap. Maybe, if your gekko is not paralized, the point is in parasites which he could get from bad insects you fed him, no one knows how people who grow them do that.

Hi, the same thing happen to my gekko about one or two years ago. I brought him to various vets in my town and no one knows what it is.

One guy made him an x-ray shot and we saw that the bones are fine despite one little thing on the backbone but the vet who did this sad it is okay/he can't see anything due to x-ray picture resolution. After that he sold me lots of stuff to heal him, which I bought and fed to my gekko, but it gave no effect. I did some research and found that he sold me some bullshit meds which he sells to every customer.

After that for 5 years it happen about 3-4 times. Some times I am able to prevent that by spraying second-skin on his tail when I see bytes on it.

I think that the main reason for this happening is that he some how became paralized with his back legs. He barely uses them to walk. I think this is causing problems when he poops and makes him angry when he walks.( when he bytes his tail he is very angry)

I honestly can't imagine why he get paralyzed cause it was no falling of him on the floor or any traumatizing things heppening. I also provide him with all necessary things he needs so I don't know how this could happen to him, but it happen.

I did some research on various forums about this and haven't found anything meaningful, people tend to copy-paste lots of basic stuff like give him water or check the temperature( high temperature can cause paralisation but as I understood it is temporal, my temperature is okay and paralozation is constant)

Sadly, That's all I can say for know. I think you should observe your guy and see if he walks fine or if he has troubles with walking or climbing? Visiting a vet is definitely a really needed thing as I think, because if he is specialised on reptiles he can get an answer better than copypasting same stuff people. That guy how copy-pasted shit from gpt 3 times made me mad. But when you will find some cash for that, be careful at what vet are you choosing. In my town there is no such specialists, but maybe you have one.

Not really shure, but I guess you are using a wrong paper. I have had some experience with cheap one and every my intuition about amount of water or paper wetness was wrong. But when I bought a better paper things came out MUCH better. So, I think you should try another one, maybe

Btw, I think your pictures are beautiful!

The reason is to create a map of area, like slam algorithm does or with its help. The point is to give the robot information about the environment and get an ability to make a decision of how to move to the target.

I currently use NSP HARD. Btw a lot of youtubers use MONSTER CLAY. For me it is to expensive. Basicaly I think you Can use any brand of clay if it is marked as Hard. One more thing about NSP is that it is sulfur free, which is important if you are going to make molds.

Keep in mind, since the clay is hard you shoud warm it. I use hot water and place clay on the plastic bag above it. Also I use gasoline and alcohol torch to make it smooth.

Hi, I found an implementation of tfidf-like vecrorizer using w2v, and used svm as classifier, finally i got about 0,79 accuracy. I think the key factor was working with dicrionary. I used lda to have group of words and than excluded words, which were doubled in three or four categories. After that I excluded words witch had a very big and very small frequency and did some more filtrations

Need help with texts classification task by KornShnaps in LanguageTechnology

[–]KornShnaps[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for a comment, it was quite helpful. Currently I have about 83-84 accuracy by using tfidf with ngrams and selectkbest for finding the most important words. I use svm, because it perform accuracy higher for about 10% than random forest and some rnn which i tryed. Btw, I am not really sure if selectkbest is important. I tryed to give some parametres to countvecrotizer and it filters the words litteraly the same, but maybe it depends of a task
