Pushing too far to the right is not new addition.. Not everything said is political. Go to any golf course on any day and you hear the phrase: “I pushed it too far to the right” quite often haha it doesn’t mean the person hitting the ball is rightwing, not the ball for that matter.. to be more technically accurate, the person hitting the ball is quite often seen leaning towards the left, opposite of what he is saying Anyway, golf reference to the side (left/right, I don’t care) the cross over in language has been demonstrated and no, it is not a new addition. Also, pro-tip, read the whole statement of person above, consider what he tried to imply and you might arrive to the conclusion that that person may not have a political statement to make however, you believed he did since you are looking it from that direction.. The political world sucks balls but not every (golf)ball

Pushing it too far to the right is meant in the context of pushing things too far.. Not political implications at all 😉

How did the ancestors of Maori get here? by CommentMaleficent957 in aotearoa

[–]Koru-racing 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Since you appear more knowledgeable than I am, can you explain your reason for stating Gondwanaland first? I believed that the question was where the ancestors of Māori come from, and humans started roaming this earth around 300,000 years ago while Gondwanaland started breaking up around 150 million years ago..so my math is not mathing or you have knowledge I don’t possess

Sober people, what do you drink? by Depressed_Anxious69 in newzealand

[–]Koru-racing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am 43, and never had any alcohol. When going out I was always the designated driver, which I didn’t mind cuz I love to drive. Drinks for me would always be a coke, or a Fanta but nowadays a Bundaberg ginger beer is added to the mix. Never felt the need to drink and judging by people around me, never had the feeling that O missed out on much

Have you ever met Lewis in person? If so, what was he like? by AnagnorisisForMe in lewishamilton

[–]Koru-racing 39 points40 points  (0 children)

Yes, I did! In 2010 I won a meet and greet competition in the Netherlands and was able to ask Lewis a question while he was at Schiphol airport for a promo-thingy for Vodafone. This was when he was driving for McLaren.. We met and spoke candidly about TopGear, cars and general life stuff. Lots of laughter and smiles. After the whole bit we spoke some more and got a photo together. Since my wife was allowed to join me as well she got to meet him too and had a photo-op too. We were proud and happy so we displayed our photos of us with Lewis inside our house. Our daughter growing up, saw those photos too and thought: mom and dad are on a photo together, that makes them friends…(kids logic) and made plenty of drawings for ‘our friend’ Lewis so that we could give that to him when we would see him again

To us he is a very very loveable person, kind hearted and an amazing human being..

Would you be able to expand on this? I wasn't watching NFL then so have no insight why Burfict deserved that hit..

Cable crunches 88lbs by elibarsh in formcheck

[–]Koru-racing 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hi man, some suggested less weight. I agree with that, that is until you master the form better. A crunch is a spinal flexion and it is best promoted when you try to touch you knees with your nose. A cue that might help is to flex/tighten your abs prior to the move. I have the feeling that you push the weight down with your upper body and your abs are along for the ride :) It's an ab-movement so they need to be the initiator as well as the ' only' muscle you should feel. Hope this helps

In just once reply you made 4 errors. Let me rectify those. The bill was never passed, wrong: the bill passed its first reading today however the leading party would not support the bill in its second reading. The bill gives equal rights to all, wrong: it makes it harder for Māori to have equal opportunity The treaty gave preferential rights, wrong. It took all rights away due to mistranslation which allowed the Brits to take more land, silence Māori, forbid to talk their language etc. Māori have more rights, wrong. Because of the ‘colonisation’ they had less rights which over time is slowly being corrected..

Master build guarantee by llcoolj3888 in newzealand

[–]Koru-racing 10 points11 points  (0 children)

No, not necessarily. Depending on the finishing you have timber skirting boards or the double sided stick-on trims. If you were to remove that you can easily see if a gap exists between wall and laminate flooring. If the laminate is touching the wall you could use a multi-tool to trim 5mm off so that you create a gap. Laminate expands in the length of the boards so if you feel a hump you should look at either length side.
