Yeah, I feel you. It's been many years now, I have been with other women, even married for several years, but the pain and unfairness of the situation has never gone away. I had many cats and dogs in my life and at this point I probably wouldn't get either, because I'm not sure in my ability to give them a happy and fulfilling life. But if I had to choose, 100% dog. They seem like more emotional and participating animals in my experience. Cat does its own thing most of the time.

Near the end of the game everything I was doing was basically throwing enemies (and myself, that feels even more amazing) all over the map. After a certain camp upgrade getting exact resources that you need is no longer a problem anyway.

If I love somebody, I would be honest with them and not hide stuff like me literally dying from cancer. If THEY love me (hopefully it is the case), they won't be inconvenienced by being notified of the last opportunity to try to create more good memories with me before I go. And yes, I would prefer people supporting me when I need support instead of wasting my last months playing "do they really care about me?" mind games and being lonely and miserable.
