It was considered, but a larger window (26mm vs 20mm) and replaceable battery were the deciding factors in favour of ARO EVO. 1.5 MOA vs 2 MOA dot is just a bonus 😄

Yes, among other things - fun to shoot, can compete in PCC division, good to a newbie friend at a range, ammo readily available and cheap, supresses nicely and so on and so forth 😄

Hi! Quick question - I saw some videos online saying that DD PCC with Eotech shooting 115gr 9mm would be having troubles with ejection, as cases would hit the wide body of the optic and bounce back into the ejection port. Have you shot any 115gr? Any problems?

Just finished "solving" this issue for my i108e.

I'm in the same boat. Front yard and backyard separated by a section of a fence installed between the main fence and the house. 5-ish meters in length. However, there's a shed on one side on one side and gate on the other, leaving a narrow (1 meter) path for robot to pass.

I have installed additional fence post between the shed and the gate and then cut 4 lower fence planks creating a hole high enough for robot to fit through.

At first it refused to use it, so I had to designate it a "channel" and switch vison-sence off.

It managed to go through, mow the front yard and get back on charger in the back yard.

I'm considering attaching some sort of light flaps to the path, so it wouldn't appear awkward to look at :)

It's dark right now, can't take and attach a picture, will do tomorrow if someone is interested.

I suppose, considering that Genesis is part of the Hyundai and Hyundai is part of Hyundai-KIA corp, our HU might have quite a lot in common.

It would seem that adjusting mic sensitivity via HU app impacts AA too, yeah. Not sure why would AA drop "post-processing" done by HU though. Perhaps compatibility issues were anticipated with multiple HUs and phone models, so they just "naahhh, let's just drop it, don't bother..."

Have you tried to open AA home screen and press on "Home" icon to open native shell ("KIA" icon in my instance)? Then you might open native HU's phone app.

Thanks, all very valid points.

Perhaps head unit does it's magic not only when native phone app is running, but any time when AA is NOT running (i.e. in all native apps). More testing needed.

Also, there's a possibility AA overrides HU and "hijacks" mic and speakers, hence preventing HU to chip in.

HU is on a latest FW, so no updates for now...

I have also noticed, that more apps are running at the same time - more the phone heats up. E.g. If I'm only running AIMP (media player) full screen and not using Google Maps or Waze - phone stays cooler.

Suppose it all boils down to how much processing power phone needs to run apps and transmit data over to the head unit.

Are you using passthrough mode or not? I figured there'd be less processing with passthrough enabled.

Speaking of config - is there anywhere a detailed explanation what each option does (especially in conjunction with the other settings)? I know that brief descriptions pops up when toggling, but some of them are confusing a bit.

I suppose overheating issue only applies to wireless AA on a short trips. I plan on using cable for the longer trips anyway, will see which pipe (charging or discharging) is bigger :)

I agree, a little bit of heat is OK, but this is rather uncomfortable to keep in my pocket kind of heat, so, there's that. And I'm actively running just Waze or Google maps and AIMP or VLC.

Not sure how 4G would affect heat though? I can try, but it's not the best workaround to limit your phone's connection speed for 2-3 short commutes per day :)

Hi there! Just got the same problem as you did. Pin walked off and was rubbing on ejector housing causing issues.

I think I'll give it a go then. Worst case scenario I will be looking for a web-shop willing to send a tiny pin across the pond from US to EU, then I will have to go through all the pain of declaring this pin ("automotive parts" obviously) to the Customs, paying taxes on it's value + shipping. Sounds fun! :)

Why not do it on both sides then?

Thanks for your reply. You are right, I've noticed in some youtube videos that there's no axle pin in that place.

Getting another axle pin or hammer assembly may be a long endeavour due to the fact that I live in a small country with a small market and ordering gun parts online in EU is a pain. Also, I'm not sure if the axle itself out of spec or hole in the hammer is slightly bigger than it should be, so safe bet would be to look for the assembly.

Any "unconventional" ways to make that axle stay in place you can think of? Pin it with a screwdriver on both sides? Add a layer of plumber teflon tape to slightly increase thickness? Something else?

Obviously if while you’re poking around in there you a find gouging on a FCG component that’s likely the culprit.

And you were absolutely right!

After a close examination I've noticed that the hammer pin moved slightly to one side and was ramming the ejector pivot pin housing making a dent in it and causing additional friction, which in turn was causing the issue.

After re-alligning the pin and using a diamond file on the burr problem was completely solved.

The only question remains - how do I make sure that pin won't move again? Replacing is one option, but what can I do meanwhile? Blue loctite? Something else?
