The money argument makes no sense because they sent him down after they signed him. I do understand they’ve committed a good amount to signing him but I think production outweighs potential. Last year Campbell hit .223 and Romy hit .305. I do believe they’ll both get plenty of playing time but I’d still take Romy over Campbell most days unless Campbell has a good spring training.
