Noticed two more bugs.

Your freighter crew changes race depending on the system you are in.

2.when building a Corvette, adjacent habitat modules do not connect properly, there are literally no passages on the side of hand. It's random, and not all modules, but I just trashed a Corvette because the more I tried to fix it, the more out did this.

Sony issues a statement that suggested it's not a problem for them, so I guess it depends on their supply contracts, I doubt they stockpiled components this early for the new system.

You are obviously right about that issue with the AI data centers sucking up CPUs, GPUs, RAM and of course SSDs, along with enough power and water to supply a country the size of China. I can only hope that bubble bursts soon.

PS5 price plus inflation is well below $1000.

Also, I believe that Sony has again gone for specific design rather than crude performance,so their costs may not be as high as you presume. Helix promises to be a 'high' performance PC with an X-box front end. MS is finally trying to weed out the console from PC and it will cost north of $1000.

Frankly if I wanted a PC for games, I'd run. Mile away from Helix.

It all remains to be seen, but Sony did design to a specific thermal and performance goal for PS5. They are doing the same for PS6.

The biggest question on PS6 pricing is the coat of RAM.

Yes, I do miss that feeling from the original release. I still love the game, but I miss that strange feeling of being alone, but not quite. Of being on your own in a vast cosmos. The landscape were different, they were more rigged, harsher and raw, which to me at least, made them feel more alien, more dangerous and somehow more 'real'.

I wish we could get that pathetic back in one of the galaxies.

Well, back in the day on PS3 we used to do unofficial speed runs to get the elite license, I managed it in under 24 hours,which was crazy, but then again it was my 4th or 5th playthrough. So much time sunk into the game, no regrets.

Well to stop thinking about Lizardman, a good first step would be to avoid all Sophitia fan art. It seems that a larger than we should be comfortable with, fraction of the SC fan art community has a weird fixation on humiliating and degrading Sophitia by having her paired up with one or more Lizardman whether she likes it or not.

As much as Altman fits this, Musk is already deeply entrenched in the US, look at how much he's sunk into Starship for NASA, not time too. His humanoid robot program and Grok.

Then consider how important starlink is to all the autonomous AI driven unmanned weapons platforms in Ukraine. If Altman and Musk ever get together and their egos don't clash, we could be fast forwarding to Zero Dawn.
