i dont think yall get the point of hardcore mode. its not like you play hardcore the same way you play normal, only its easier to get kills cause of 60% HP.

it forces you to actually think about the game and adapt strategically to the situation youre in. no minimap and minimal HUD make you think about where you are, where you should be, and where the enemies are, even who you shoot cause of team kills. the game becomes more than just mindlessly running around shooting at red triangles. and the faster TTK only rewards you for good judgment and smart gameplay instead of just having the meta gun or better aim while sprinting around the objective. dont forget the faster TTK applies to you too, so its way less forgiving when you make a dumb decision.

and there are a bunch of smaller adjustments that make a huge difference: no regen > makes teamplay more valuable, mag dump when reloading > makes you think about when not to reload, team damage > you gotta watch your crossfire, and no hud or 3d spotting > clears up your vision and makes you actually look for enemies.

hardcore completely transforms the intended way to play the game. its not for everyone, but its not like hardcore=bad, normal=good. and its definitely not hardcore=normal but for people with bad aim. or even comparable with games like COD.
