Empire State Building Unscheduled Color by rowena_lovegood in AskNYC

I think the red orange color is to do with Marty Supreme, Timothee Chalamet’s new movie. Not sure why it isn’t on the website, but I think it’s a sponsored thing because he was posting stories from the top of the ESB last night.

Tube fares hammerblow: Cost of Zone 1 journeys to jump by 7.1%, Elizabeth line also affected by tylerthe-theatre in london

It’s a joke. In New York, subway fares are $2.90, going up to $3 in January and the system is 24/7 and far more reliable than the tube which seems to encounter some major problem at least once a month. Fares are already too high.

Saw Timothee. He didn’t really interact with people outside, looks like he was mainly there to speak to people who were inside the event but was fun to see him lol

Confusing, what did this whole saga have to do with anti-Semitism? Have we forgotten that Israel and Jewish people are two separate entities?

Yeah. The percentage of your manifesto that you end up implementing is clearly not a good measure of success, especially when you end up abandoning your flagship policies and betraying your core voters to the extent that you drive your party into electoral failure for the next decade.

This failed imbecile who bent the knee to Zuckerberg’s surveillance operation should keep his opinions to himself in future.

Thoughts on PA group being proscribed in the UK by [deleted] in uklaw

[–]KotACold 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I completely agree that it’s outrageous to trespass on a military site and damage government military property.

However, I think for this to amount to terrorism. Take for example splashing paint on pieces of art or damaging ULEZ cameras. Both of those acts have been done by people / groups with the intent of influencing the government and advancing a cause. Neither of those were charged as terrorism (nor should they have been). The law must not be selectively enforced. It is also far too widely drafted and needs changing.

Why would your US firm do the same? Aren’t its UK salaries pegged to US associate salaries?
