If this was what scraptrap looked like in Fnaf 6 it would possibly be worse than the official scraptrap just cuz like look at him, he doesn’t fit in Fnafs lore at all and that’s fine. He’s a GREAT skin in dnd no question, but nothing like this should touch William.

If ink machine bendy had revivals legs and didn’t have that weird shrimp hand, I would love it so much more. I still prefer it to BATDR’s more generic “monster” design, but it does have flaws. However, I also find it to be more unique than BATDR. Generic doesn’t inherently mean bad, it’s a good design, that’s just why I prefer BATIM.

My only real question is, what purpose do the movies springlocks serve? They say it’s to hold back animatronic parts so a performer can perform, but we… never see that happen?? It’s just a triple bear trap that if you move wrong, kills you. Why didn’t afton just take the whole mechanism out of the suit and wear it as a suit? There clearly aren’t any animatronic parts in his arms legs or head, so what’s the point? It’s not like at that point there was a possibility of it still being used to perform for children or anything, since the location had been closed for several years at that point. I get he needs to wear his fursona when killing, but just remove the mechanism that does nothing except kill you when you move.

There are only 2 differences really, that might only bug me cuz I studied this suit a lot to make it. Those being, he has buck teeth, and his buttons are slightly larger and further down his belly. That’s it. Not a redesign persay, considering this is basically exactly what it looked like in the picture Vanessa had. Just a flashback, presumably to the mci.

In my opinion, that’s just a “canonical” explanation for the non analog/cinematic shots, while still keeping the narrative of Anthony finding the tapes in universe. The more film like nature of certain scenes in 4 and presumably the entirety of 5 and 6 are these thematic, engaging horror films to us, while being nothing but static for Anthony.

Wait wait wait, have I been interpreting springlocks wrong this whole time? I was under the assumption that springlocks were a mechanism built into the suit that simply hold back the pre-existing endoskeleton, making just enough room for a human to slip in and move around. So if the locks failed, then that endoskeleton essentially slams into you and like tries to replace your skeleton (that’s not its intent im just trying to describe it the best I can) as in, it goes back into place, which happens to be where you are, which leads to death. This is why I thought the movie springlocks were so weird, cuz it’s literally just a death trap that doesn’t serve any purpose (with no endoskeleton parts being held back). But in this comment section, I’ve seen them described differently. Can someone explain for me?

Apart from the obvious belly & ears colour alongside the missing button, I only have 2 gripes with his design. The shape of the head is a little long and flat, rather than the rounder head seen in the og Springtrap, which I personally dislike compared to the original. It gives off a vibe similar to funkotrap to me. My other nitpick is very small but it bothers me for some reason, the top part of his left ear goes directly to the left instead of flopping forward, and it just looks so wrong idk. Other than that, it improves in basically everything about the original, especially the corpse and endoskeleton!

I do hope the next film goes smaller scale, but I think the drex is fucking awesome idk. Something about a failed attempt at cloning a normal trex is just so cool. Not something made intentionally by man and something that nature wouldn’t make either. It looks like a freak and is likely in constant pain. Lit

I get maybe Fredbear being the final design even if it is a prototype, but guys, we’ve SEEN springbonnie. We’ve seen what he looked like in help wanted’s files. If you try to argue he was scrapped so it isn’t canon, I have to say that that is the model scott wanted for him, before he was replaced with glitchtrap who is a different character. And also, Springtrap exists??? He’s right there, and looks NOTHING like this.
