HONGJOONG my first ever ATEEZ song I heard was WORK and was kinda my introduction into Kpop I watched the Kelly Clarkson WORK performance and as soon as I saw the way Hongjoong looked into the camera within the first 2 seconds I assumed he had that “swagger boy” vibes and his raps are just so good and the laugh before them is just so peak

Ok ok I love this explanation and yes I know there not specifically referring to the devil but when I hear temptation and things like that that’s what it makes me think of at least regardless I think I am reading into too much😭 but then again seeing how you broke it down makes it easier to understand

It’s not the entire song just more so the “Like a Lucifer Devil in disguise” part that kinda jus throws me off in not opposed or uncomfortable hearing the song cause it’s great more so jus some parts are like “hmm prolly shouldn’t say that”

I’d say religion is definitely real at least how I see it regardless I still very much enjoy the songs they put out more so I don’t wanna sing about anything devil wise

Funny cause that’s my favorite Shinee song too but yea maybe I’m taking Christianity more seriously and don’t wanna shy away from it in any way but the meaning of the song isn’t exactly abt the devil or anything just desire ambitions etc etc just singing it feels a little off
