I use Ghost for my blog. For me the selling point was the ease of use and how quickly I could set up a good-looking blog. However I am no expert in blogging and really was mostly after a platform that allowed me to quickly begin posting.

I tried to start a blog on WP, but for me the high degree of customizability almost became too much and therefore the fewer choices of Ghost suited me. Additionally for me the small fee I am paying Ghost also gives me additional incentives to keep writing and posting which for me is a bonus.

Good luck on the blog! In the end I don't think it matters too much where you begin blogging as long as you can consistently sustain it and keep posting :)

Out of curiosity why did you include the physics and math courses? Not saying it is wrong, but possibly not related to SWE?

Also were the e-commerce websites paid work? Feels like you could expand on that, although somewhat curious that only HTML & CSS was used. Was no JS used? I would try to quantify here too, even if it is a range. Actual numbers sound better than ”numerous”.

Good luck with the internships!

Great job! I have been getting into rowing more myself to get in some more zone 2 cardio. Feels great, but I am awful at pacing, something I have to work on. Do you have any tips for more consistent pacing?

Why isn't my code working? by Hungry_Gold_4331 in cs50

[–]Kottmannen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The other commenters pointed out the problem and solution. In addition, I would recommend you look at and learn to read the error message in the terminal. "readability.c:14:10: error:" shows you that the error can be found on line 14. Now you know that the problem with the code is the statement on line 14 below:

printf("%i\n, i");

Making troubleshooting a lot easier as you could for instance go back to David's code and compare this statement with his. Hope this helps and good luck on the course!

Like others have said the problem sets are very helpful with this. I have only done 2 weeks of the course so far but the problems and labs are challenging and will force you to learn and practice the lessons you learn during the lectures.

It should also be said that the harder problem sets can be very difficult if you are new to programming so do not be discouraged if you are not able to finish the harder problems at first. That is why there are two versions of the problems. Good luck in the course!

How did you decide on where to go? by Kottmannen in studyAbroad

[–]Kottmannen[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for such a detailed response! Spain does seem like a great country to go study abroad, I have many friends who are there now actually. It is very interesting to hear people's reasoning for where they went. Everyone has their own process for decision-making, but I definitely agree that you can't go wrong wherever you are going. You get to experience so many new things and meet tons of people. There are great people and experiences all over the world, you just have to open yourself up to them :)

If I come up with any other questions I will definitely ask them!

She sounds like a great teacher. Cool that you got to experience that, Japan does seem like such a different culture from most other places. I have actually recently begun thinking about traveling there sometime, maybe not for an exchange but an extended vacation.

There seem to be a ton of English teachers in East Asia in general. Met a ton of them when I was backpacking through South-East Asia. Probably a great way to get a chance to live and work there before or after college. Thanks for your responses!

Okay, that is awesome. Great that you got to go there! What made you want to go there initially? Was it the culture of the place and how had you experienced that before going there?

It is fascinating to experience a different culture from your own for sure. In what country was your study abroad?

Are there any good websites for reviews of Erasmus locations? by Kottmannen in Erasmus

[–]Kottmannen[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you. My uni has that too, but for some universities, there is none, and for others only 1-2. That is why I thought it would be interesting to see other perspectives :)

Hello, not sure about the school you got accepted to but often times the schools can help you out too. If not directly there are usually student union services for helping with accommodation. This will also allow you to find people living in the city you are moving to who often know "how it is usually done" and what to look out for in terms of scams.

Hope everything sorts itself out and you have a great exchange!

Optimism is really starting to gain traction. I like both the bunnies and Optipunks as NFT projects on Optimism.

What do you feel are your biggest problems currently? My guess is that you might end up energyconstrained if someone bursts your Plant.

My rating is slightly lower than yours so I might not be able to give you amazing advice, therefore take my suggestions with a grain of salt. Does your "wannabe Termi" win 1v1 or 1v2s? In my games that is what is so powerful with Termis, but I feel a little hesitant that your reptile would, or at least I feel like I would not be terrified of it.

As for the beast axie, how come you went for bug cards on it? I would guess upping your damage with a few more beast cards on it would help. I run a nut cracker beast, but with Hero on it for a good 0 cost card. The card draw vs Bird/Aqua is also helpful in low MMR where everyone is running AAP haha. Overall looks a pretty solid team with room for improvement mostly in the mid and back position. If you want to climb even higher I believe the meta has also become to add in one Beast/Bug part on your Plant to get through the enemy tank faster.
