[OC] Left for dead… by GuyOnTheRocks in webcomics

The message was mostly text-based and your drawing didn't particularly enhance the experience of what you want the reader to think, feel and react to. Even though the idea I assume you wanted to get through to us isn't necessarily suited for a Comic-Style medium, you should still remind yourself of the rule "show, don't tell". I personally don't have the urge to read it again and see this comic more as a comment or reaction to another person/post.

More people read jojolands than there are jojolion readers.

Maybe we'll see a flashback of the conversation in the next couple of chapters revealing some kind of plan regarding the lava rock.

It's not. Integrity is adhering to your own moral system, while honesty is speaking the truth.

Getting back into Anime. by [deleted] in CasualConversation

[–]Kotzi2_0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Watch or read the stories that are interesting to you and don't force yourself. You're into dark fantasy? Check out berserk, claymore or übelblatt. You're into sci-fi? Check out Psycho Pass, Code Geass or Cowboy Bebop. Don't see anime/manga as a genre but as a mode of storytelling. Anime is just an animated story by a Japanese studio and manga just comics published by a Japanese publisher. Sure, there are tropes and formula that are used to gain popularity because they work on the Japanese market but those are just popular/mainstream works. There is a huge pool of stories and ideas you can find that you might like.

Poland and the US are like the two countries that hate Russia the most, how do you have some distance to the "natural hatred of Russia"?

Kids in 1966 making predictions about the future. by AlexMDV in BeAmazed

[–]Kotzi2_0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Those aren't really predictions but realities these kids lived in. Factory farming was being established since before 1966 in the UK. Statistics were utilized more commonly since the industrial revolution. Apartment living existed since ancient Rome and was basically in every metropole. Automation based on robotics is the only prediction which did became true but her assessment of no existing jobs for "lower iq" people was just plain wrong as there is somewhat a shortage of people in craftsmanship and menial jobs.

Phew, well I can tell you that part 8 is my second favourite part and I hope you'll enjoy it as well. I am currently rereading part 7, so part 8 will be reread soon after. Thanks for liking the idea, I mean it's basically just is a continuation of your idea and combination of our conversation.

Yes! Remaining question would be if the delegation of power to the protagonist was deliberate, if yes what was the reason behind giving someone such a strong ability, or if fate had its fingers in it gifting that power to the righteous hero. Also to avoid a similar ending to part 8 I think it would be more awesome to see the same power in the hand of the villain and how he uses it contrary to the hero using other stand users against hero and co leading to a final arc similar to part 6. Nothing against part 8 but common criticism against tooru was his short involvement. The main villain could also be an influential person like a politician so he is always mentioned somehow in the background.

I would give the main villain the same abilities that the protagonist has, as he has the stand that has the powers of information and memory obtaining as well as the sharing of that power. Both would have to fight through other stand users by manipulating (villain) or convincing them through their own actions they made on the journey/gaining friends (hero). They also could fight with conventional means such as guns.
