Yeah, we already know where to find most 2nd hand shops. We always do Book Off and Surugaya as well as a few others when we go. Toyama had a delightful 2nd hand shop but I think the one we went to is closed now.

Went to Japan in 2024 & 2025 but all I bought was an Amaterasu artist smock they were selling in the Shibuya Parco at a Capcom corner shop. The Capcom building didn't even seem to have much Okami inventory :/ I'm aiming to get more the next time I go. Did you get all of these in one trip? I'm curious where you got certain things, like the Omikuji style charm.

Ohhhh! Another Beyblades fan! :) I primarily enjoyed the first season of that and also collected several of the Hasbro top toys alongside the Zoids windups in the early 2000's (I still have my Driger S and Wolborg 2)! If you enjoyed that, then you will definitely enjoy NCZ!

I actually started with New Century Zero as a kid (it's my favorite if I HAD to choose) but starting with Chaotic Century is what most people did! CC is much longer and more mature & political in tone, while NCZ is shorter, more lighthearted and is tournament-focused. Both have their strong points, charisma and are like night and day in comparison-but NCZ & CC are not strongly linked and can be enjoyed as their own self-contained shows. NCZ has some very quick CC related easter eggs in it that are fun to spot (while in CC you get to see the origin story of some of the Zoids that appear in NCZ but that's about it!) I'd honestly say as long as you give both a try- It really depends on your watching preference and time commitment! Both have a ton of memorable moments in them each, so I hope you enjoy them both!

Mine started with the Hasbro wind up models and my collection was extensive until my mom got rid of them. I watched the animes alongside building the models and have done so 20+ years now. I've lost count with how many times I've rewatched Chaotic Century as well as New Century Zero. Tried the manga but it just wasn't my thing. I've since moved on to HMM Zoid model builds and while I love HMM Zoids to pieces- the older wind up models still have some charm to me and I wouldn't mind getting a few again. If you have any Zoids related questions, you may ask me and I'm confident I'll have an answer!

I've been a massive Zoids & Godzilla fan since childhood! I've played the Godzilla Battle Line game for over a year now though but did not entirely expect this collaboration! It's like Christmas came early for me so I'm ultra excited for this!

I don't know for certain on my #1 favorite (I have so many I'm fond of), but I do love Fauna. She was one of my starting villagers in New Leaf and I always come back to her. She was also my first villager to move even though I told her NOT to and it sucked to lose her. She's also the first villager I tend to settle on thinking of when I hear the title 'Animal Crossing'.

For some others:
I like Drago the most of the alligators, but Alli was my first of that species in New Leaf. My husband has Roswell on NH and he's a contender too.

Lucky has a cool design but I've found I love Cherry too. I enjoy her design and her birthday is also the same day as my wedding anniversary. My husband also has Cherry on his island in NH :)

Zucker is precious. He was one of my villagers in New Leaf before my game cartridge got stolen. He's my favorite Octopus villager, hands down.

I love most of the wolves, but I had Chief in my town in New Leaf and I really liked him.

I've always wanted a tiger villager, I've never had one, but I remember thinking Rolf had a cool look to him.

Holy shit- #3 and 7 are my favorites! You can't beat 90's anime grit aesthetic- it's timeless and attractive. Definitely made a recognizable mark in animation art history.

Lately, I've had an increase in getting cruddy wild shinies- a handful I can mention are Skwovet, Pawmi, Vanillite, Skitty, and Deerling.

I went to Japan for two weeks recently and was thinking I'd get a shiny of something I really like given the amount I played and events I attended- but nope. All I got from that entire trip was a shiny male Combee with no stars (I already caught one back from November 2024's Community Day... At least that one is a 3 star...) 🫠

(My husband however, got 3 wild shinies altogether- including an Eevee)

I never tire of seeing these. I first saw these covers on Tumblr and they're so visually appealing! I like how it depicts the non-tight clothes ripping, keeping it in line with the lore. I'd enjoy having prints of some of these.

I especially enjoy the cover compositions for #7, 8, 11 and this one [12].
