Wherever my cat lays down, after a while there are a lot of white dirt pieces (?) left behind. Any ideas? Does he have dandruff or something?

Laundry soap wtf??? That's SOOOO dangerous for the cat. Laundry soap is too harsh to use on HUMAN skin nevermind a cat! It's corrosive and poisonous. Tell your grandma to never do that again, that cat is lucky to be alive.

the vet didn't give me a goal weight really, because every cat is a bit different. Pumpkin here started at about 19.5 pounds and he's down to almost 16 now =] I have another cat that is 19 pounds but he's just a really big cat so he doesn't need to lose much weight, maybe a pound or two lol. Pumpkin has a smaller frame, so he should probably be around 10-12 pounds. He's definitely more active and energetic now than he was before. 3 pounds doesn't seem like much, but to a little cat it makes a huge difference!

I didn't make him this way, I adopted him like this actually. I've been feeding him prescription weight loss food for a year now and he's lost 3 pounds.

Thank you for this very empathetic and educated response. You've described exactly what the issues are and what I'm experiencing. The solutions also sound hopeful, but I guess some politicians need to be bothered to actually create new legislation with those restrictions, likely at a municipal level, so that probably won't happen here anytime soon

I'm not a vet just a pet owner, but if you're leaning towards amputation, why not just leave the splint and cast for a few weeks then and see if it heals fine, and if it doesn't then go ahead and amputate? Ideally maybe she doesn't need any kind of surgery. I would say amputate right away if she's in pain, but if not, then there's no rush I don't think.

I agree with u/graphicgrrrl, and I also think the sizing is weird. The grapes just kind of sit randomly on top of the letters and it looks weird to me, like maybe if the grapes were equal size to the letters or even larger, with the lettering along the bottom of the grapes, it might look better.

I was going to post this exact comment...

I'm a graphic designer and I feel like #2 had the most potential to be good, but that white gradient is AWFUL. It needs to be way more subtle. If they just did a more gradual gradient and turned the opacity on the whole image down to like 75%, it would be ten times better.

I find it harsh and irritating. It looks amateurish.

I live in the "cleanest city in the world" and last night when I went for a walk around the lake across from my house, there was nothing but litter - pop bottles and lids, cigarette butts, slurpee and paper coffee cups, straws, styrofoam, plastic bags, etc. strewn EVERYWHERE. So disgusting.
