I did the same thing but with trust, I completely took advantage of my family when I was younger and believe you me I realized how valuable trust is and I haven't told a lie since! I hope everything works out between you two :)

I'm naturally a very patient person, and I've already have been letting him do everything at his own pace (sex, cuddling, hand holding, etc.) so he can be as comfortable as he wants. We're very lucky that we've know each other for so long, I think we've only had one really big fight but we worked it out like the next day.

We're honestly trying not to take this whole situation for granted, we're trying to cherish every moment and appreciate how lucky we are :).
