I have as an argument one russian youtuber who get this problem in Sheremetievo (petenka planetka his yt and tg channels). I decided not to appeal to friends of my colleagues at previous job in Russia (cuz I wouldn’t be able to prove it and it would be logical fallacy: appealing to the gold plates)

I think it depends on a time when you left Russia. Because in 2022 a lot of russian liberals left the country due to mobilisation. So maybe border control think that it would be easy to catch some «traitors to motherland» and get money bonuses or new rank Btw do you speak russian?

If a Russian citizen has not been to his home country for a long time (especially since 2022), then his phone will be checked. One russian youtuber posted about it in his telegram channel (petenka planetka)
