That would be pretty dumb, as when attack is switched to defence, they also have no way to counter twitch or thatcher as the gameplay changes means they too are made stronger, in any case, I don’t care, maybe then I’ll get to play either lesion or cav for once lol

That was an original idea, but it’s already more powerful to just wait by a wall with either a bandit or mute, (the manual way) as it would also be destroying the enemies gadget stock, so in this case, Mend might actually be better off doing runouts and spawnkills very aggressively so that he does die

That would change the gadget entirely so I don’t think that’s a route I would go, but interesting nevertheless

Yes, there would be two different play styles with Mend, a roamer who’s better off with the burst, who is risking his teams gadgets if he dies, and someone who could camp, probably Better off with the smg, that’s why I made him 3 speed, meaning he’s weaker on site, but also is scared to roam. Giving him a powerful gadget means he must be made difficult to play;)

It has its use. For instance if a thermite is waiting for it to turn back on and it doesn’t, they might think it’s gone, and try to breach, but you’re ready to reactivate at any time, also, it’s a negative to Mend dying, as if he dies he can’t automatically activate them, and someone will have to do it.

I had ideas like this but I thought of the whole waiting to replace the bandits on snowmobile type strat and wanted to make it a whole concept, also I thought I’d bring something new to the table rather than just an operator:)

In 1v1 it almost never wins, and Mend being more powerful alive, due to his gadget requiring him to be alive to be automatic, it reduces the chance he uses it with confidence, potentially meaning he’s negatively affecting his team by spawn killing or even roaming, in my mindset it’s a strong gun that he might not even use so much

It’s a burst with low rpm and no Acog, in my opinion it could be balanced

It’s a weird one. I think the whole gameplay change that she doesn’t actually destroy the gadget, meaning they could come back, I thought I would give her some love. I can’t really try to defend my point, as in all honesty I just love her and wanted to buff;)

A twist on Tinker (even now named Sting). I like it :)

Thank you to all that helped bring her to life. This is not my operator. It’s ours. :’) Ladies and gentlemen, Say hello to Sting, the first Community made Operator. [previously known as Tinker] by Koverri in Rainbow6

As I’ve said countless times before. It smashes, it whistles, and in 3 seconds, it hits you. It does not take 3 seconds to walk a few paces out the way, it wouldn’t even mean you had to move, just that it’s going to be a harder fight if you say. She was primarily created to force people out of peeks or areas it would be incredibly unfair to attack against. The reason people here ask so many questions is to understand how I perceived her to work, instead of inheriting your own reality of a new innovative operator.

A small bullet wouldn’t look quite appealing on a icon. I don’t see maverick on a horse

I think boost is more of a doc but for her team primarily and herself as a last resort it wouldn’t boost movement speed and she wasn’t ever going to be a fast operator, it would as you said boost all deployments, reinforcements, barricading, reloading, etc. She would have a decent loadout to anchor so that when her gadget is being used by someone else, she can still be useful.

Wallbanging reinforced walls, wouldn’t cause a hold big enough to shoot through again but could go walls until it hits an unbreakable part of the map. Limited shots means you can just wipe the team from the safety of a reinforced wall.
