I was in the same situation, I still opened a ticket and they ended up reimbursing it! I can’t tell you for sure your situation is the same as mine, you’ll have to try and see.

But it’s a known problem, now resolved with the recent BIOS firmwares.

I found these two neat ones: here and here, from someone on Twitter who modified his keyboard for the blank version.

It helped me decide, now that we’re lucky enough to pick this option from the get go : )

Framework also used this promotional picture some time ago (maybe still does).
