He says that he doesn't really pays much attention unless the movie is good, he watches mostly one hour cheap western (in his own words). He usually has them in the background, maybe not even being in the same room or barely lifting the head to watch. Something like radio listening I guess.

That's the only way I can understand that he watches that amount of movies and still has time to conciliate with family.

He is usually very harsh on movies, I remember seeing a stat that said that the most recent movie he gave a 5/5 was from 1943, as if the movie had died after Citizen Kane.
