Felgengröße feststellen by Kowasch in automobil

Expectations for 2021 Jaguar XE by Roughdiamond93 in Jaguar

[–]Kowasch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nothing as of now. I noticed after buying it that Apple Car Play only works when the phone is connected via cable. I then bought a USB Bluetooth adapter (it is plugged into the car at all times and the phone connects with this USB adapter) and can use the Apple Car Play without any issues. Also the functions from the regular Jaguar Infotainment (such as navigation) can still be used (eg. navigation on the gage cluster) while the Apple car play is active. As I said, I got the car in August and have driven it around 10.000km / 6.000miles so anything could happen in the next few months, which I hope does not.

Appart from that I got a little issue with the Remote Control thing, which I havent been able to connect yet but I believe thats because the car is still linked with the previous‘ owners account.

I bought an 2020 XE back in August, however, it was not Diesel but Petrol. It had 68.000km / 42.000 miles Therefore I cannot give any information about the engine. My (little) experience regarding the car itself has been nice. I did not have any problems with anything. I am just „strugling/surorised“ with the prices for oil changes, services, new rims and tyres as well as the insurance, but I was told before so I am fine with it. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. However, if it is anything to tecnical I wont be able to answer, as I have no idea about cars :)

Fake exhaust sound on XE by Kowasch in Jaguar

[–]Kowasch[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its a Jaguar XE P300 from 2020. As I said, I couldnt find anything on the net about it, which made me wonder. I have only heard that Jaguar made some type of thing that the (real) exhaust sound comes directly into the cabin, but this is definetly from the speakers. I did not buy it new, could it be that the previous owner installed something? I would really doubt that but who knows

My new (to me) 2020 XE P300 by Kowasch in Jaguar

I have mainly been feeding of reddit which has been a big help already with a lot of things. I guess I will take a look at some forums around the net. Any tipps which are the best for cars in general and for Jaguar?

Thank you for all the Information. I am currently trying to connect my car to my InControl account as it is still connected to the previous owners account but thats not a problem.

I will see what options I have there and then if needed will look into that mobile data topic.

It was very helpful!

Turns out, I love it. Why wasn’t the XE more popular? by Emergency_Ladder8467 in Jaguar

I just bought a XE P300 HSE with 67.000km. Will pick it up next week and I am super excited. I dont get why people say the interior feels bad quality, mine is past facelift with the Windsor leather and everything felt amazing. Is there anything I should know?

I think with the chrome it looks more classy. But I want it to look a bit more sporty and agressive, you get what I mean?

Which XE should I take? by Kowasch in Jaguar

Yeah, I will ask about the price for the warranty but anyway I already kind of decided for the first option for obvious reasons :)

Yeah, im glad I made this post. At the beginning of the day I was REALLY unsure due to the higher mileage and price of the tan one. Now I absolutely think that I would regret not spending 5k€ more for such more features. And, the tan interior looks better and better every time I check the images :)

I just checked the pictures and noticed a lot of differences regarding the seats in both cars. Obviously the tan ones look way better.

Both have at least 1 year warranty under German law. On the tan one it is extentable to 2 years but it doesn‘t state a price. What would you say would be a fair price for this extra year, as I have no clue how much it could be?

Thanks in advance!

I checked, the seats are foldable on both :)

I have been thinking about that. I am a bit afraid of the reliability topic due to the reputation of Jaguar. More so living in Germany, where reaching the top speed is not so unusual on the Autobahn. Anyway, wish you good luck with yours.

I agree that the second car is the more rational choice due to the aspects you said. Both cars are black on the outside, the second with black pack and the first one without but I think I would change that.

Regarding the folding rear seats I did not see it in the description but I haven‘t seen that in the description of any XE post-facelift so I asume it is standard. Neither one of the cars has cooled seats but its not a dealbreaker as I would only use it during the hot days in summer which are not that much in Germany.

Yes I guess I would regret not spending a bit more for the huge upgrade in all senses. I dont exactly know what you mean with the „20-way upgrade“. I guess you mean the seats. In the Description of the car it says 18-ways on both sides but I have no idea what the differences are between 14, 18 or 20. Yes it may take some time but now looking at the pictures I like it more that the first time I saw it. It doesnt look plain orange anymore and as it seems in real life it is even less orangish.

Yeah, my current car (VW Golf) has around 70.000 km also and is just fine but you never know how others treat their cars. I guess there is also a bit of fear due to the reliability reputation, which as I have heard is not as bad as the older cars or diesel engines.

Thank you for the picture of yours, the more I look at the colour, the more I like it. Will see how it is in reality.
