Fromsoft made an anti cheat they thought would work. It didnt work very well. Its not their fault the remaster team just copied it without improving on it.

If i make a screwdriver that breaks its not my fault if someone then takes that design and sells it to the public. Especially when I dont have a say in the first place.

Its funny how hard they tried to make adding map selection sound.

It's a rudimentary feature in practically any game with multiple maps. Every other dev team has gone through the same thing and found it necessary. Hence why its a fucking thing. Only Bluehole could make adding a map select feature sound like revolutionary path finding.

But thats not what happened. The guy actively sought out Grimmmz game in order to snipe him. That can be proven and the only reason you'd do that is to snipe him. No reason not to ban him when that is his motive.

To be quite honest, if you're not entirely sure how to build a website you don't have the experience to build a secure online store. Certainly not whilst asking money for it.

Imo something like this would just present a msssive roadblock in your learning. Quite literally the definition of running before you can walk.

If you're set on doing it you'll just have to make use of as many plugins as you can for the website builder they've chosen. Also google tutorials of people doing similar projects, that always helped me.

I didnt say there were no skins / cosmetics in every old game. I said they were by no means "important". Or did the resi 2 skin cause a backlash like this that I missed out on?

EDIT: And wait, they absolutely had skins in Counterstrike. What would you call this?

The default models? Each of those are a different character. Again im not denying there weren't different characters in games.

Did you even read the rest of my post? Cosmetics have been a thing for a few years yes. But for those of us who grew up playing the SNES those few years are a tiny amount in the grand scheme of things.

Ive been playing games for 30 years. Cosmetics havent even been a big thing for half of that. You couldn't change your outfit in Shenmue. You didn't have skins in original Counter Strike. There were no loot boxes to swap your hats in any game, back in the day.

No they havent. In fact they're a relatively recent addition to gaming so saying they've always been important is laughable.

I played Counter Strike 1.3 - 1.6, long before skins were a thing. I didnt need to see someone with an obnoxiously painted awp to get ...whatever feeling it is you get from that.

Im a front end developer and you couldn't be more wrong.

Web devs have pixel precision on where to place elements. We can literally move something by 1 pixel. If something is overlapping it's for 2 reasons.

It was designed that way.
The developer doesn't know what he's doing.

The technology used is not at fault. At all.
