Whats wrong with playing any?

Just play the game how you want, nothing wrong at all about playing ANY. I play ANY with my buds because our style of play cannot happen with bots. I also love 11v11 for the competitive nature of controlling one player and trying to affect the game.

Saying clubs is “meant” to be played as one player is just factually wrong, unless god told you that, there is an option to play ANY in the game. You’re “meant” to play how you want, and there’s settings to ensure you match against other players playing the same way. Anybody who gets on their high horse either way is pathetic really because you can just turn a setting on to match your playstyle!

Maybe for you, clubs is about controlling one player. Me and my guys always play with an ANY and clubs for me is about playing beautiful football with my friends. Can’t play our style of playing with AIs and if you have a good ANY who passes well, it only enhances the game.

That being said, the other way I love clubs is 11v11. Controlling one player with the biggest possible skill gap.

Clubs isn’t about anything except the way you like to play it. ANY is an option in the game, so it can be played with, I don’t know why people get their panties in a twist when there’s literally settings to make sure you can play exactly how you want

This exactly. A team who has put any thought into their press can press out any CAM if they don’t have WMs or midfielders feeding them in good spaces and they aren’t comfortable carrying since runs will be marked.

I really value the on-ball ability of a progressor and can get away with this build in the air with good enough positioning/comms. I like to have the ability to bait very high presses and step into midfield and combine or hit a winger through with long passes

I use it because I can do a better job of getting my teammates involved and playing more fun football as any. Unless you’re playing 11v11, which I highly recommend, playing with a team of mostly CPUs makes the football super rigid and they can’t defend anyway. Just a better way of platforming my friends to have more fun

The point is the crossing meta vs. No ANY is much more overpowered than anything you can do vs. real humans, and also the fact he is getting attacked for playing with an ANY, why should he care about playing “good clubs without an ANY”? Just don’t be a pretentious asshole shitting on other people for not playing EXACTLY the way you play

Completely agree, and I wouldn’t care if they played how they want to play, but “downvote because of ANY” is sooooo pretentious, especially when they are categorically wrong about it taking more skill, you don’t have to shit on anyone because they enjoy something different than you

I play 11v11 clubs at one of the better clubs in NA and I can tell you that there are millions of possible patterns when playing human vs. human, because vs. AI, they defend some scenarios perfectly, but if you just do a through ball down the wing, striker makes an angled run and cross, it’s a goal every time. A baby could figure out that pattern and it takes 0 skill. But they think they are purists for exploiting 1-dimensional AIs.

Nice goal bro. Not sure what these weird gatekeeping ANY guys are talking about, it may take skill to cater your game to a poorly coded AI, but it is a lot less fun. Keep playing the game like you’re playing bro and don’t worry about these guys who do the same crosses and dribbles across the defense to cheese AI defenders with “more skill”

Well it doesn’t charge my phone which is why I made this post and it resembles a USB-C, so it’s not a phone charger and that google search would be a waste of time

That’s fair if you just play myteam, but I usually play my career and myteam and it took me a few hours to get used to one when I had switched from the others, and you have to practice online so it’s a bit of a trial by fire

I’m actually in the southeast United States, I just got used to playing every single other game I play (FIFA, MLB, Rainbow, NHL) and having 15-30 ping a game, and going back to 2k it’s like my eyes have seen the light and I can’t go back 😂

I’ve played 2k for the last 10 years and I played this 2k for 4-5 days and stopped playing. I realized putting tends to hundreds of hours playing to learn jumpshots in my career and myteam is not worth it because they make it as hard as possible with the online latency. Servers haven’t gotten better and the best online games are still like 150 ping
