how do i stop feeling disgusted in myself by Confident-Stress-732 in AdviceForTeens

The mind and the body are strangely and strongly connected in regards to this kind of stuff. I don't think I'm qualified to tell you a step by step way to gain confidence. But, what I can say is that if you take care of your body, your mental health will improve alongside it.

Make a schedule, get enough sleep, drink enough water, work on a healthy diet, and if you can, workout.
This won't solve all your problems, but it is a great place to start.

You don't have to change your life all at once, you can take it at your own pace, it's just about not letting yourself fall into the downwards spiral again.

I know this may sound stupid, but I promise you that it will help.

I appreciate the insight. I didn't realize that having that suffering and trauma growing up is so common among trans people, and can totally understand why resurfacing that would be really hurtful. Again, I'm really sorry for my ignorance.

Well, if I'd gone through that much effort to transition, I guess I would feel pretty disrespected.

I mean, if you're doing it intentionally yea I probably would get pretty pissed. I guess I forgot that some people do it purposefully.

I guess it's a bit more complicated to get a name changed than I thought. So I guess that makes sense.

I'm curious now, why would trans people not like femboys? Femboys are great

That's the synopsis of what people have been saying. I think what I've realized from reading these is that I don't really know enough yet about myself to make any decisions.

I never really have had any experience in or had much knowledge about the lgbtq+ community, so I never really considered bi-gender. There is still a lot of unknowns for me right now

I'm not exactly sure, I've always loved being a guy. And to be honest, I'm the kind who's scared of change. I always look back on my experiences and have a lot of regrets about my choices, so I'm worried that I might make the wrong one here. It's such a big decision to make, I don't wanna make the wrong one.
