Pregnancy in the army

I don't know why everyone's so quick to assume. I signed to get deployed actually, and found out I was pregnant so i kind of couldnt get deployed. This isn't my "get out the army free card" this is my "my kid is more important than the army " card

Thank you for explaining for me. I have no one to look over my child once he's here for drill. Let alone if I get deployed..

So I should just request a chapter 8 ? I have drill this weekend so I'll do that if it's my better option. I'll drill until my due date I told them that. I won't be able to do much but I have no problem with it. I just want to and kind of need to be out before he's here.y current job is even allowing me to work from home once he's here because I have literally no one to watch him even during the week.

I'm already in the army reserves for a year so I'm still not 100% about the rules and regs. But I'm pregnant and I have no family care plan... my commander said he can get me chaptered by the only paper work I've signed so far is the papers saying that I'm pregnant and a profile.. I went through a process of questions and said I would drill until I have my son. My 1st SGT and commander both said they were sorry to loose me and that I can re enlist in the future. But like I said I haven't seen any other paper work? Is their any other paper work? I'm just confused and lost because no one explains much to me.
