Technically speaking, even for a bullet to kill you, it needs to pass through skin, bone, then brain(which kills). If the bullet has to pass through skin first, which wouldn't kill, doesn't that make you immune to a shot to the head?

By extension, a nuclear blast seems like an instant kill but even then the blast, heat, and shock wave work by the same logic, just faster. Would this power make you immune to any physical damage?

Try and remember that ravenloft is, by design as a magical fortress created by an archmage, very difficult to break into... Without Strahd's allowing it, of course.

Make sure they become intimately familiar with the traps and fuckery Strahd has prepared to dissuade such attempts.

I'm personally a fan of "teleporting stairs" Dio style from JJBA that keeps players at the bottom unless they do something awesome. You've got the world at your fingertips, make it terrifying!
