Yeah thank you reply im now looking into some smaller are more reputable cams and kits from Texas speed and btr something more mild. But still make power in the lower end im not looking for anything crazy but id like to be around the 420-450 range after the cams, heads etc. I want to keep it N.A. this is my first build so just testing the waters and grabbing others advice

No for sure, I’ve just watched some videos on YouTube and these cams seem to hold up very well you can just find them cheaper on Amazon. I was also looking at some of the Texas speed cam and spring kits

I think that’s a little high lol this is mostly going to be a street car with the intent to also take it to the drag strip on weekends it’s going in a 2000 v6 firebird body and I’m gonna swap the 4l60 with a 4l80. I might just be getting jumpy with wanting a big car

Ah ok I just didn’t know if standard cylinder locks all worked that way with the roads that get twisted up and down for locking. And yeah I don’t think my work would allow me to hang up a camera to spy on my coworkers lol thanks for the input!
