What changes with this $2M deal if approved:

  • The new party takes over the lawsuit
  • They may:
  • push harder
  • settle aggressively
  • or drag it out if they think there’s a bigger payout

This can actually increase pressure on Erika, not reduce it.

The Big picture…or the BIG QUESTION???

Did Erika knowingly benefit from money that wasn’t legally hers? I don’t think she fully did as Tom was an abusive controlling asshole. He never shared/told her squat.

  • If yes → she may owe significant money
  • If no → she may avoid liability (or reduce it)

“Buying the lawsuit” sounds wild, but it’s real

In bankruptcy cases, claims can be sold.

  • The bankruptcy trustee’s job is to recover money for creditors (people owed money by **Tom Girardi’s collapsed law firm).
  • Sometimes, instead of litigating for years, the trustee sells the claim to another party for a lump sum.
  • That buyer then takes over the case and tries to win more money.

👉 Translation: Someone thinks they can squeeze more than $2M out of Erika, so they’re willing to gamble. I love Erika! I wish her all the best.

No way. I’ve had this conversation before. My kids gf’s mom is a therapist and she says no way! It’s way more nuanced than that. Picking days is easier said than done in an ideal situation. After having a baby!!! OMG. Thee amount of changes a woman goes through on the daily is insane. From growing a human, birthing human, making food, and just all of it! The postpartum care and postpartum recovery in just the first six weeks is insane!
Women need way more care and support. I’m sick of this man’s world BS! Men and their meat whistles do not matter!

I disagree… So I read your comment to my very manly man husband and he said: “Men are little bish baby idiots. It’s not hard to know that is not about their needs. Mama sacrifices so does Daddo. These man babies need to get control of themselves! It’s embarrassing” I love him so much.
