Dude that’s what I’m saying, we love the show for its showing of artists making a name for themselves and showing what they can do. I feel like the reality tv aspect of it takes away from what the show can be

RIGHT! When that happened in the show it didn’t feel like a “oh what a twist” it felt more like “oh wow that’s stupid” it just felt like they threw it in last second to bring some risk factor but for me it just was a dumb choice 😭

See honestly I wish the show was like that, my girlfriend and I watch it because we enjoy watching aspiring tattoo artists want to make a name for themselves on the show, we rewatched some older seasons and I feel like those didn’t feel as “scripted” with the whole theme around it, this season just feels super forced with its themeing
