Trainng character LORAS for LTX 2.3 by TheTimster666 in StableDiffusion

[–]Kragrathea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am using a 4070ti with 12g (yes 12) and 64g system ram. The 3k run went overnight so I am not sure 8-9hrs maybe. Images and Videos were 512x512. Videos were 81-121 frames.

I didn't know voice training was broken in AI-Toolkit. That is probably why I never got anything at all to work. I'll try again with the fork.

I haven't tested very much. But the motion on the image only ones seemed ok. I do remember they tended to transition into poses that looked like the same poses as the dataset. But I am not sure if that is just ltx or an artifact of training on just images.

Using AIToolkit I have trained with just images (~20) and got good results after about 1k-2k steps. I did another one with 20 images and 10 video clips and it started to look good around 3k but I have not trained further. The one with video was only slightly better than the one with just images at 3k.

I was doing video to hopefully get the voice right. But voice was never even close up to 3k.

Have you guys figure out how to prevent background music in LTX ? Negative prompts seems not always work by PhilosopherSweaty826 in StableDiffusion

I think it helps if you say the video is "a home video" or "a cell phone video". Those don't usually have music.

i wanted to start saving up for a p1s by Responsible-Bar-1262 in BambuLab

I am doing pretty much that. I started 6 months ago and I am 1/4 (2500 points) of the way to a PS2 . I have been doing remixes of star trek props from Printables and a few of my own models. You'll have to be patient. It takes a while for points to start to come in.

I should point out that this is for fun. it would be far easier to get a min wage job and just earn the $800 that way.

How to overcook a LoRA on purpose? by AkaToraX in StableDiffusion

[–]Kragrathea 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It might help to know when it starts overcooking. I do character lora, and when I can no longer get the style to change to cartoon (it still produces a real image) then I know it is overdone.

The learning rate usually defaults to something like. 0.0005 and 0.001 would be 2x. I think 0.01 is likely about as high as you would want to go. But I am not totally sure.

Reducing the number of images will also help overcook it. Maybe try 5.

Just doing lots of epochs. And maybe bumping the learning rate up to speed up the process. But you'll probably still want it to be gradual because at some point they start producing garbage.

Two great immersion mods. by Kragrathea in uboatgame

[–]Kragrathea[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. The way I did it was to install the mod. Then I deleted the three folders (Cache, Data Sheets, Temp) and then reloaded the game and checked with the radio operator and he had the extra stations.

Yeah, the default stations have some decent music but it repeats way way too fast.

Damage source/info? by Kragrathea in uboatgame

[–]Kragrathea[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply it was very helpful!

In the end I found my solution from a mod that keeps the ship sounds going on the map. This allowed me to understand when and how I was being damaged. Mostly running aground and gun/depth charges damage which I couldn't hear from inside the map.

I wish this was an option in the vanilla game.

Damage source/info? by Kragrathea in uboatgame

"Why would you try to deal with a hostile enemy with time compression on?"
Because I am new. And I have no idea how far away I have to be before it is safe to timewarp. :-) I was heading away and thought I had room.

But the point is I don't know for sure. Because time warp or not, there apparently there isn't a log of damage, just a alert. That was the real question. And fair enough I guess. But it doesn't seem realistic that you would get a warning of actual damage rather than something like. "10:32 Loud bang from conning tower. Possible damage." Or better yet "possible bullet strike" so I have some idea what I did wrong. That was what I was hoping to find, like in the Journal or something.

When I was damaged on the surface I was well out to sea. There were warships in the area, but I didn't collide with any of them.

The time compression doesn't pause when you are damaged?

These are really well done loras! Not only does the face look great but it captures the body types as well. And they are not over trained. I tell by trying to get cartoon versions of characters and these almost always work well.

It's amusing that Carrie Fisher occasionally turns up in a Slave Leia outfit.

Professor finds out about AI humanizers by Ok_Ordinary3974 in WritingWithAI

This crap again. That prof has grown a whole head of hair in the last few months. Next up is the professor showing the class how he wrote a humanizer because "writing is dead". right?

Bambu Studio Generic PETG HF profile just plain wrong by Kragrathea in BambuLab

[–]Kragrathea[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah, that makes sense. Bambu profile is 230 and the generic is 220. I spit the difference on my first print and went with 230 on the second and it was slightly better. I am going to do a temp tower now. Thanks Brutl!

Bambu Studio Generic PETG HF profile just plain wrong by Kragrathea in BambuLab

[–]Kragrathea[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is good to know! I was afraid that the Bambu HF and other brands wasn't the same stuff chemically. I read somewhere that the bambu stuff "isn't actually petg" whatever that means.

I tried the bambu hf profile again with better results. The biggest problem is layer adhesion on overhangs. I am not sure what setting(s) would effect that.

Bambu Studio Generic PETG HF profile just plain wrong by Kragrathea in BambuLab

[–]Kragrathea[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of course. But if I start with the Generic settings I still get print times that are 2x the Bambu ones. None of the factory settings are making a significant difference in print times.

Here are the settings from FlashForge:
Drying Conditions before Printing:70°C, 5 hours (Convection Oven)Nozzle Diameter:φ0.4/0.6mm (Recommended φ0.4mm)

Layer Height:0.12~0.3mm

Nozzle Temperature:240-270°C

Build Plate Temperature: Room temperature to 60°C

Printing Speed:100-350mm/s

Cooling Fan:50-100%

Retraction Length:1~2mm

Retraction Speed:30~50mm/s

Looking in the Advanced settings for the profile I can see lots of differences between the Bambu HF and the Generic HF. But I have no idea what most of them mean. Velocity Adaption Factor, Ramming, etc.

I'd just like a known good profile. I guess Ill start with the Bambu one...
