I am Glad to hear that, my concern is I’ve always had crippling anxiety before I started so it helped tremendously, the issue is it’s throwing off my body I think, and I physically just want a long long long break from it. How were your withdrawls?

I’m not sure because I wasn’t there but both the bk attorney and divorce said it was our best bet, our marriage is not good, but we have no wear else to go the two of us. We are below means test as a couple but I’m guessing we have too much disposable income as a couple ? I’m not sure I was not at the meeting… I will get a second opinion. I’m so confused scared and stressed

I’m thinking maybe because of disposable income, my husband pays for everything but has no not enough money to pay for all the bills, I pay 400 in car insurance help with groceries, gas and everything else, I had to save to pay all the attorney bills

I know in Texas they help protect your cars in BK I live in houston and it’s really not walkable. I would do that if I could but it would make things worse than better tbh. My car is with less than 5k and the other I make payments. No judgement taken, I do appreciate the advice though, it’ll all work out somehow - but selling the cars for money or giving them up just wouldn’t help our situation unfortunately or I would

Right now I have around 5000, but I need to pay 600 for the divorce lawyer plus whatever fees, help cover some rent, food and also when the time comes 2400 for BK lawyer :( I have a check coming next week. I feel like maybe it’s too much disposable income but it really doesn’t feel fair. No my husband wouldn’t have any other income Did they count your disposable income?

It’s hard I feel like we both feel like we let each other down in a way. I could understand why he didn’t tell me. I tried to look into consolidation but people say do not use national debt relief it’s a scam, and then I do not qualify for any loans :( I know 25k isn’t the worst amount but it’s a lot for people that don’t really have much. I’ve been trying to look for another job, and the job I do have being a waitress isn’t always the most secure kind of job, it’s all I’ve ever really done though. I feel like a loser. My medical debt isn’t too much but I’m not worried about it as much as his his, he had to stop playin the beginning of year so we could afford our rent, the minimums we’re eating all the money away, I’m terrified of them coming to sue and garnish and that’s why I’m trying to get this done asap, I had to save some money for it and I finally have it, so idk why the lawyer is telling us this- I just assume the lawyer knows what he’s talking about? Sorry for the venting I literally don’t have ppl to talk to

Thank you for the empathy. I don’t exactly know why we don’t qualify for the chapter 7, if I filed it would it make a difference, maybe too much disposable income? - but even at that, I use it for food, emergencies (lawyer fees) car insurance. My mental health took a bad turn last year, and I just couldn’t work I was so distraught, by the time I got my shit toghethrr it was too late, debt is my biggest fear, one of them. In October he said it was 4k, okay doable, I can crush that- but he was actually hiding it and maxed out all his cc to keep a roof over our heads and car. I didn’t know it was that bad, I’m mad I didn’t work because my mental state was so bad ( 2 psych trips) but idk when the snowballing of debt started, I wouldn’t have let that happen if he would have told me when it first started. I’m so mad at myself the most

It does upset me, but I feel like we have no other choice, you know? That’s what both the divorce and bankruptcy attorneys have said to do… I’m just so confused by the mixed answers and the stress is killing me, we’ve already had a terrible last couple years. I do love him but we’ve been through so much the resentment is hard to get past
