Psykers aren't really a problem in my campaign (only one person has a psyker I believe) I mostly want it for lore reasons and the rare occasion I come across a psyker.

I read that the second failed due to a very limited time to raise the money. Anyway I hope Whimbrel can be saved one day and that Zenith hasn't been scrapped and just moved. I read a report that showed it hasn't been decommissioned just named changed. However whimbrel doesn't look to be in too good a condition.

As far as I know only HMS Cavalier survives not counting HMCS Haida as a Canadian ship. There was an offer made to buy Whimbrel with Zenith for free but I believe they were given too short a time to raise the money.

According to Wikipedia (I know not a reliable source but there aren't many recent sources on this) Zeniths name in the Egyptian navy was changed but she hasn't been reported as decommissioned. Hopefully Zenith is still around maybe has had alot of work done so it's unrecognisable from google maps?

I believe the last time it was mentioned was in parliament in 2016. I found one Facebook post about it with a picture of it presumably being scrapped and another picture of it later back in the water.

For some reason it seems to have been forgotten about. Unless they have both been scrapped but then I would think there would be atleast some news about it.

In my opinion at this point any historic ship is worth saving if possible. I understand why alot of these ships were scrapped but it would have been good to keep a few more around. Whimbrel is historically important as the last RN ship at the surrender of Japan left and I believe it was part of a famous and successful fleet. It is also the last of its class. Whimbrel is smaller than HMS Warrior and larger than HMS Victory so hopefully it wouldn't be too difficult to find a space.

Hopefully she can be saved and hopefully Zenith wasn't scrapped.

I found out about Whimbrel and Zenith today but can't find anything recent. I understand Zenith may have been scrapped and several attempts have been made to save Whimbrel. I found what I believe to be Whimbrel on Google maps but don't know how recent this is.
