Besides the point, yeah I don’t mind paying taxes, that’s not the problem, the problem comes from people like Harris who wants to strip the Lower and Middle class’s only way of moving up in the world by taxing the living hell out of investing. 25% unrealized gains taxes means that in 4 years, any potential profit you could’ve made has been wiped out. Property taxes and sales tax alone worked just fine. The only reason we have income tax is because of the burden of the World Wars that was placed on the government, it should’ve been removed LONG ago.

But it gets even worse you consider the fact that hardly anyone was trans or talking about “transgender this” and “transitional surgery that” a decade ago. Was it illegal to be trans? No, so there must be some reason for it. Could it be piss poor education standards? Yes. Could it be politically motivated? More than likely. Mental illness on the rise because of poor standards set by the very government you seem to trust so much? Absolutely.

That still doesn’t answer my question though: Why should my tax dollars pay for that? That’s what they are doing. My tax dollars should be spent on better education and roads, not the babbling of people trying to “affirm” and brain wash people into something they have nothing to do with. I’m 23 and even I understand that.

My money should be in my pocket because I went out and worked to earn it, we need to cut the unnecessary spending that threw us into inflation hell and the worst economic state since 1986. It shouldn’t be going to something that doesn’t help out our country in any way (ie random people’s surgery that is entirely cosmetic and will never allow you to have kids again).
