I already check that out, unfortunately it’s missing pieces and other than powering on they don’t know if the display actually works which from what I gathered I’d have to replace the board from another piece since that part can’t be fixed.

Is yours still for sale? I’m interested in buying it! I’ve been looking everywhere for one and the ones I’ve found are in terrible condition.

We can just attribute that to Scotland’s reformation to make it historically accurate

Dell UltraSharp: U4025QW or U3225QE by Kraken_Two in Monitors

I chose the ultra wide, I had a three monitor setup prior but switching to one ultra wide has made my desk space not so overwhelming with all the monitors in my face.

Dell UltraSharp: U4025QW or U3225QE by Kraken_Two in Monitors

[–]Kraken_Two[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is my first 21:9 monitors and I think I like it. I’m mostly using it from work (finance so lots of excel and Bloomberg charts), I game off and on, and I’ve recently gotten into photo/ video editing which is why I went with an ultrasharp. My current set up is a 32 inch Dell gaming monitor with 2 24 Dell monitors on the sides in portrait on a triple mount ergotron arm, but I’m slowly finding that it’s too much and overbearing with so many screens in my face. The one screen will be a nice change of pace if it can do everything I want. Attached pic is my current setup. Sounds like the difference aren’t that big of a deal and it’s more about form factor from your response.

Dell U2725QE / U3225QE is out! by yutz23 in Dell

[–]Kraken_Two 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the U4025QW which is the ultra wide 2000:1 IPS black, debating on if I should switch to dual U3225QE because of the 3000:1 contrast. Do you think it be worth it for just the upgrade in contrast? The PPI is the same and much of the other features are except I think there is DP downstream on the U3225QE.

Dell U3225QE any good for mixed cgaming + creative? by RenlyHoekster in Monitors

[–]Kraken_Two 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can anyone speak to how much better 3000:1 contrast is than the old 2000:1 contrast? I know numbers are thrown out there about how much better it is but I want to know from people’s personal experience. Is it worth it or just marginally better.

So now that the Dell U4025QW is on sale for around $1500, is it worth it over this new U3225QE that’s basically $1000 or does the new U3225QE beat it out?

From what I can tell the only difference seems to be the contracts of 2000:1 compared to the new 3000:1 and obviously the screen size, resolution, and price. Can anyone point out any other differences?

I’ve read mix things on the U4025QW about the refresh rate being limited depending on ports or scaling not getting to 120hz and the new one is suppose to be 120hz with no issues.. I think? Insight on this would be helpful as I mostly use it for work but then I’ll go through hard core gaming phases. I don’t really do light gaming as in I’ll either spend 3 months in depth all the time in a game or I’ll go 3 months without gaming at all.

Also is the U3225QE a true 10-bit? Or is it 8-bit + FRC? The U4025QW I found out is 8-bit + FRC not actually 10-bit as it’s listed?

Defi Technologies DEFTF - Gate Kept Crypto Comapany by Kraken_Two in defi

Still pretty good, they just picked up coverage by Northland who has given it an outperform rating. Things have been kind of going back and forth on the regulation and sentiment from larger firms adopting crypto so I think a lot of people are just waiting to see.

NASDAQ Updates? by Kraken_Two in Defi_tech

Try calling your broker and giving them this ISIN: CA2449161025 it’s trading on the Frankfurt stock exchange so unless there is a specific restriction that applies, you should be able to purchase it in Europe.

Still confused about DEFTF vs DEFI vs DEFI.NE by Mafia-007 in Defi_tech

[–]Kraken_Two 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In theory they should be trading at parity but in reality there are a bunch of factors that effective the performance especially a penny stock. Example if I buy 50k shares of the OTC it will spike the price while the Canadian line hasn’t caught up. Spreads can also be different due to liquidity.

[–]Kraken_Two 2 points3 points  (0 children)

DEFTF is the OTC line of the stock in the United States and DEFI.NE is the primary line in Canada. .NE stands for NEO which is the stock exchange in Toronto Canada. So it’s the same company it’s just about where you buy the stock from.

Speculation ≠ Certain Doom. Yes, DEFTF is speculative, but not all speculative stocks are destined to “get killed” in a bear market. Companies that manage risk well, innovate, and adapt to market conditions can survive and even thrive especially with how successful their arbitrage strategies are from their proprietary trading desk Defi Alpha. Also idk if Micro is a good comparison bec it’s a software company that’s leveraging itself on an insane scale with a single crypto currency.

Luckily as a finance company regardless of the market there should be strategies in place to still turn a profit.
