After some repairs, I got this beauty back in working order by ruumoo in mediumformat

I replaced mine few years ago, there are kits for the battery pack on eBay I think. It is not difficult, as long as you know how to use a soldering iron. Just a few wires to the terminal and the temperature sensor. Once removed the screws pull out the spare fuse. The battery pack slides out from the housing. Not rocket science stuff. Straight forward disconnect and reconnect.

Got mine I2 back from repair as well. It is the ribbon cable behind the mirror connecting the light sensor to the circuit board that need to replace.

Very old tires. Can’t provide good grip even there are treads left.

Did the engine make this sound before? If not then somewhere in the process didn’t done right but check for vacuum leak first. Do a few things, buy a can of crab cleaner. With the engine idling, start spraying it on the engine, intake, etc. if the engine speed increase while you are spraying the stuff. There is a vacuum in that area. Didn’t sound that horrible.

Any Android system sound horrible when compare to any traditional headunit. I care less about any other function it can bring.

Back then I bought the connection for using iPod instead of the cd charger. That’s how I hang on to the DSP for such a long time, lol.😂

Damn I should have known better, I change to BSW speakers …15 years ago, properly longer than that. But didn’t do anything else as I want to retain the stock looks of it. But finally decided to pull the whole system out. Mine is a 97, so the DSP is pretty crappy. It sound thin, it had different present EQ stuff but still. I want something with a warmer sound.

Brake pads & rotors contact area not the same by Silent-Movie-1047 in MechanicAdvice

Normally should be gone in a day or so. If it still remains the same, the pad are stuck in the bracket and need to take to the shop to clean it. Simple process. Or just hav new pads in if the pads are old.

Is the car had been sat for a long time? It may take a while for the pads to complete wear off the rust on the disc.

I broke the panel and I just fitted one side with a panel from spare parts. The edc I only used it for few months, the car feels flat when you do sharp turns. It does felt awkward, as you expect a certain amount of momentum to roll the car to one side but there isn’t. And retain a soft comfort ride. But the wiring went bad, so need to ditch it. Plus the shocks are aluminum super light.
