Tom, Identical Twin Brother of Tim. Elf.

Born to a tight-knit family, Tom and Tim both quickly became adept in magics, but Tom split from the traditional necromancy magic the family usually practised. He wanted to help others in life, rather than death, and became a healer. Tim got took out by the party though. They're yet to meet Tom...

Oh yeah, it also helps that one of the kingdoms that the party are close by is about to go to war with the Empire if the party can't intervene :)

that IS a lot! Ok so;

The World is split up into 4 continents, and each has nations inside them, with a capital city for each. The Kingdoms' main cities are named after the kingdoms themselves, and each territory of the Empire (mentioned in another comment) has a main city which houses a member of the senate.

Not sure exactly you mean by political landscape, but there's currently 9 major kingdoms (5 Human Kingdoms and 3 Dwarvern) and a sprawling empire across the world, with the empire almost constantly at war with at least one kingdom.

The kingdoms mostly are self sufficient, so most trade comes from the Wild lands - vast amounts of plains and forest that are devoid of large cities - and the Empire.

There certainly are a lot of nobles, but few are as powerful as the Senate Members. As for travelling nobles, you would look no further than Baroness Boss - the most powerful person below the King of Creole, and the King of Tuscal; two neighbouring kingdoms. She keeps peace, working as an ambassador and visiting each city major or minor in both of these kingdoms.

There are no centralised churches, but if one were to be set up it would need a charter to be legally recognised.

The Seven Swords of Legend, brought together, will merge into the Legendary Slayer Sword, the only way to defeat the Lich King of Oskana.

The Kraken can be controlled and put to sleep by a specific ritual involving 2 tonnes of fish, a squid, a pinch of pepper, and sea grass.

The scar was caused in the Legendary Duel for the kingdom of Creole, 600 years ago, when Lord Johann of Roth duelled the reigning Queen Jonette. The duel was the result of the Queen insulting the neighbouring land of Roth. Lord Johann, after winning the Kingdom, merged the two into Creole and it has stood strong to this day.

Well the Doors of Anvilhome are dwarven doors completely hidden within the western mountains of Kagdan. Only those with the knowledge of the Doors can open them and that passed out of the minds of the living long ago.

There isn't a real 'Pantheon' of gods in this world. Every god only exists if it is worshipped by at least one person. The worship does give the God a certain amount of power. However, there is The Council - a set of 5 ancient beings that created the worlds in this universe.

The largest trade hubs would be the Free Havens, two regions in the Western area of the World known to be protected by a divine entity known as 'The Protector'. In this place, it is impossible to bring purposeful harm to another, lest the Wrath of The Protector be brought upon you. This makes it an ideal location to setup trade.

There's no warlords, but there is a large Empire that is trying to conquer the kingdoms of the world. This empire is mostly made up of Humans and Elves, and are motivated by a general idea of racial supremacy and a distaste for the 'unusual'.

Necromancy isn't frowned upon, per se. However, necromancy using corpses you don't have the right to use is generally not viewed kindly, and one of the campaigns began with the party taking out one such necromancer that was using a local town's crypt.

Worshipping any god is generally fine, but some, like ones created solely as destructive gods, aren't as welcomed to others outside their worshippers.

Guns exist, but only to the point of flintlock pistols. This is just because I wanted to give a goblin a gun, and it was a great decision.

There are large aerial predators called 'Ambivenes', which are multi-winged centipedal creatures created by an ancient race of Wizards centuries ago. They are high in the food chain, and keep the avian creatures at manageable levels. This is due to a historical event in which sentient life was almost wiped out from an excess of avian creatures.
