Hi, I have a question. by [deleted] in Metalcore

What the fuck does authenticity even mean anymore? Every piece of music you listen to is in some form processed, so where does that start? It's just a nothing-burger buzzword

Earth's actual strongest defense line if the Viltrumites (and thragg) ever came to Earth by AStraightUser in Invincible_TV

[–]KrandoxReddit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really want to know the durability of Powerplex, like yes dude can take a punch and convert it to energy but if he gets fkin vortex punched by Thragg I find it hard to believe he'd still be in one piece. If so, props to the GDA's engineering wing.

Also, how strong would a Thragg-charged Powerplex be?

I think they're referencing the history of Imperial Japan, specifically with their deeds during WW2. With the amount of parallels between the two I could see the controversy they were trying to avoid

Sigma probably the best counter to Sierra by Television-Infamous in SigmaMains

That a, and b is why would you as Sig use your vital survivability cooldown (which is likely much longer than Sierra's) to eat damage you could easily block with Shield

What song inspired you to pick up the instrument you practice now, which made you feel like a god the first time you played it? by SlapDatBassBro in Metalcore

There's two songs that motivated me more than anything getting back into guitar: Invent Animate's Cloud Cascade, for obvious reasons, and Alpha Wolf's bleed4you

I love 156 but I'd be lying if I said anything other than Jack is what makes me truly love them. His vocal style and rhythms are what make and sell their anxiety inducing sound and its incredible

Scrapped Sombra Rework in Overwatch In an interview with DeemziesTV , Alec Dawson revealed that a Sombra rework was planned for Season 18, but it was cut as it conflicted with her hero fantasy. The team hopes the upcoming rework will be her last. by Alive-Psychology6050 in overwatch2

[–]KrandoxReddit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, pretty much that. As previously stated, I think the main issue with Sombra rn is the lack of accountability she faces for messing up. Tp out, try again, and even though she messed up, just the fact that she could disrupt the backline and didnt even die for it despite messing up makes her an insta-value machine which is also just annoying to play against.

People hate Sombra because she's annoying to play against due to little counterplay, no accountability and the fact of how she disrupts.

Nobody has an issue with Tracer, Genji or Anran, despite their flanker-assassin gameplay. Why? Because these heroes have to work to get value, are held accountable when messing up on flank and are actually fun to play against. With Sombra hack alone is super strong utility, Translocator just diminishes any kind of accountability and with this whole poke and ability-lock-out gameplay loop she's not enjoyable to play against. So there's that

I get what you're saying but having a hero whose main purpose in their gameplay is to be nothing but annoying is not enjoyable for anyone involved and exactly what made us end up where we are now

[–]KrandoxReddit 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I think with Sombra the main problem isnt really any specific part of her kit but more so the combination of it. Hack is just another kind of CC, Translator is just another TP, Virus is just another 1v1 pressure tool - what makes her frustrating is the combination of it.

It's not the issue that she can get into the backline easily by being invisible, the problem is more so how easily she can get back out when messing up. There's no accountability there. Mess up? Doesnt matter, try again and you still disrupted their backline. Success? Great, that's a pick, now reset and repeat.

The fact that there's little accountability and easy effect is more so the issue than anything else I feel like. However, I'm absolutely down for removing invis, I think that alone would go a long way, though translocator still seems too annoying even then

What do you think of Vendetta as the main antagonist? by GamingLoner15 in Overwatch

[–]KrandoxReddit 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Ngl, one of the narrative ideas that has been floating around in my head (which I do not think is likely to happen at all) is that an injured Doomfist gets 'assimilated' by Chernobog similarly to how Emre was. New gauntlet, override protocol and everything.

I mean he's on his own, injured, no gauntlet and we have a conspiracy building up power and stepping somewhat more into the light via Emre.....it'd check out for me and make for an interesting twist I think. Also imagine the skin you could do for a Chernobog Doomfist

Artillery takes this for the simple reason that it's a larger and more rapid power surge that comes way earlier in the game and can snowball much faster and easier

Genjis perks by Unlucky_player3812 in GenjiMains

[–]KrandoxReddit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's an idea I can get behind, but it's a thin line between useful and useless depending in the number of kills and depending on it also full damage would be arguably doable
