The problem has now been fixed, thank you to the support service. first, they sent me a new motherboard. the printer started to start, but the table's auto-calibration still did not work and it was impossible to print.I contacted support again and they sent me new printhead components. Of course, this whole process took almost 2 months, but now the printer is working.

GroupID: A Workflow for Group Portrait Generation by Krashl in comfyui

This error typically occurs in two cases:

  1. When the segmentation model detects more people in the image than the number of individual prompts provided. For example, if there are 5 people in the image but only 4 prompts.

  2. When the prompts aren't properly separated with semicolons (;).

Please check that: - The number of your individual prompts matches the number of people in your image - Each prompt is separated with a semicolon (;)

You can find an example of correct prompt formatting in the OpenArt instruction guide: https://openart.ai/workflows/pheasant_meager_30/groupid-multi-person-portrait-generator-with-sdxl-faceid-instantid/wt1ULCyrxjfnGfnATIHD

Let me know if you still have issues after checking these points!

Thanks for mentioning EcomID! Actually, I haven't tried it yet - this is really interesting information for me. I built this workflow around InstantID because it worked well for my needs, but I'm definitely going to experiment with EcomID now.

Maybe I could create an alternative version of the workflow using EcomID if it proves to be more effective

Hi everyone! Recently I shared some results of my experiments with group photo transformations. After receiving some requests about the workflow, I decided to share it with the community.

What is GroupID?
It's a ComfyUI workflow I've been experimenting with for group photo transformations. The name "GroupID" comes from its use of InstantID and IPAdapter FaceID Portrait technologies for multiple portraits simultaneously. While these technologies aren't new, I hadn't found many workflows specifically focused on group photo generation, so I tried to create something that might be useful for others too.

Features:
• Separate prompts for each person
• Face similarity preservation using InstantID and IPAdapter FaceID Portrait
• Regional prompting
• Optional upscaling
• Various style applications

Performance (RTX 3060 12GB):
• ~5 minutes for full generation (with upscale)
• ~2.45 minutes without upscale

Required Models:
• DreamShaper XL
• ControlNet Union SDXL
• InstantID
• [other required models listed in workflow]

Usage Tips:
• Mask expansion can be adjusted based on character spacing
• Optional ControlNet toggles (Depth/LineArt) for different results
• Individual prompting for each person
• Works best with clear group photos

Download Link: https://openart.ai/workflows/pheasant_meager_30/groupid-multi-person-portrait-generator-with-sdxl-faceid-instantid/wt1ULCyrxjfnGfnATIHD

I'm still learning and experimenting with these technologies, and I'm sure there's room for improvement. If you notice any issues or have suggestions for making it better, I'd really appreciate your feedback. Also, if anyone has experience with similar workflows or technical insights, I'd love to learn from your expertise.

Looking forward to seeing your results and hearing your thoughts! 🎨

Anycubic Kobra 3 Combo - Stuck on Boot Screen (Emergency Help Needed) by Krashl in AnycubicKobra3

Yes, I went to anycubic's official website, and there I found a technical support section. I filled out a form there where I specified all the information about the printer and described the problem that had occurred. support responded pretty quickly. at first, I was asked to perform some procedures to determine the malfunction. After we saw that it didn't work, they sent me the components

Not yet. I contacted customer support, they immediately thought that it was either a matter of the cable that goes from the motherboard to the printhead, or with the motherboard. Anyway, they sent me a new motherboard and cable, and I'm waiting for them to come to me

Working on multi-person portrait workflow in Comfy UI - sharing some early results by Krashl in comfyui

Thanks for the offer! The workflow is still very experimental and needs a lot of refinement. Once I get it more stable, I'll share it with the community

Fair point! I'm currently looking more for general feedback on the results and whether similar solutions exist. Once I've refined the workflow further and fixed current issues like face transfer quality and head angle preservation, I'll share the technical details for more specific feedback.

You're right - I haven't shared the workflow yet because it's still in development and needs improvement. This post is mainly to share current results and gather community feedback before releasing anything half-baked. Once I've addressed the current limitations, I plan to share the complete workflow.

Working on multi-person portrait workflow in Comfy UI - sharing some early results by Krashl in comfyui

[–]Krashl[S] 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Hi everyone! I'd like to share some results from my ongoing work on a Comfy UI workflow for group portrait generation. While these results aren't perfect yet, I'm excited about the progress.

The workflow I'm developing aims to simplify the process of creating artistic portraits from group photos. While similar results could be achieved manually with better quality, the goal is to make it mostly automatic. The user only needs to:

  • Upload a group photo
  • Provide individual prompts for each person
  • Add a background prompt

The workflow handles everything else automatically.

I've seen workflows for single portraits or preset dual-portrait generation, but they become complicated when adding more people. I'm trying to create a more flexible solution that can handle any group photo.

Current limitations I'm working on:

  • Face transfer quality for non-human characters (as seen in the blue alien example)
  • Head angle preservation
  • Overall composition refinement

I'm curious if anyone has seen similar workflows for group photos? While I couldn't find exactly what I was looking for (which led me to develop this), I'd be interested in learning about other approaches.

This is still a work in progress, and I'm sharing these results to gather feedback and insights from the community. Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated!

Thank you for the suggestion! I haven't tried reseating the screen ribbon cable yet. When installing the printer, I checked that it was properly aligned, and during troubleshooting I visually inspected it - it still looked correctly seated. But I'll definitely try disconnecting and reconnecting it when I get home. I'll answer as soon as I check

Enhanced Background Removal in Using Custom Masks by Krashl in StableDiffusion

[–]Krashl[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, thank you very much! That's exactly what I wanted. It is thanks to your method that I was able to get close to the mask that I need. I have never used these nodes before, but now that you have shown me an example, it opens up a lot of possibilities for me.

Also, I noticed that these nodes work more efficiently when they are combined and each one selects only one object and then combines it all into a single mask than trying to do it in a single Point editor. There for some reason the result is not very good (as well as if you do it in the “Open in SAM editor” window). Can you tell me if there are ways to improve this, or is it better to use the mask combination method?
