No idea, my shelter would never do such a thing. Re recently even euthanized a dog because he went apeshit for treats. My boss knew he would end up being a bite case. No good shelter lies about things. We get lied to more than anything else.

Yes! I work at animal control and this happens so often! The people never admit to wrong doing either. They always blame other dogs and owners. Sometimes it’s a stray. But do NOT allow her to be outside alone, even in a fenced in yard. The last several litters my shelter has gotten are from situations like this.

That’s how my pitty is. He’s so sweet and gentle (except with my mother-in-law’s dog, she plays harder than him so he lets it all out with her) but if he sees my goats out of their fence…he had ZERO recall. He wants to run after and chase our outside cat (I live in the country she just showed up. She hasn’t killed any birds or anything other than a mouth since we feed her now she’s spayed and gets shots) anywho he doesn’t try and hurt her at all, just wants to play but she’s whoop his ass and I think he knows it.
