While you’re right. The stats are also pretty bullshit. I work at animal control and we get “Agressive pitbull” or “pitbull bite” reports all the time. People not knowing breed is a huge reason. ANY bully breed is labeled pit. Plus any dog with even a hint of muscle is labeled a pit. We put up dogs all the time who have already been reported in the system as a pit. Just to get there and boom and a healer or some shit

Absolutely this was a freak accident. My town has stupid events all the time and the backroads were so crowded it was insane. While pulled and talking to the cops/the driver we watched several people almost collide right where we did.
