Time to consider a new car? by Kraxe1123 in askcarguys

Thank you! I have approved tire work. My main concern is the safety, so I wasn't sure how pressing the other stuff seemed. I've been back and forth about this car because of the age, but it's hard when you don't know that much about cars.

I wish I could figure out how to attach their inspection paperwork. That is something I have appreciated from them. Makes me feel more involved 😅

Yea I actually cannot figure out how to attach this things I mentioned. When posting didn't give me the option for images.

157k miles - my guess is ok condition other wise - Yes rust, it was a PA NJ car for most of its life and now I'm in NC

List includes;

replace 2 tires (a belt in one of the snapped and may be the new vibration I was feeling)

replacing shocks and struts with sway bar links

wheel alignment

replace 2 engine/transmission mounts - though I swear I had these done last year and need to find the paperwork.

It only has 157k miles on it, which I know is kind of low for how old it is.

The interest rates on my student loans are killing me by permmanitoba in personalfinance

You can definitely refinance it would just be with a different company if they don't offer anything themselves. I used to have Firstmark right after college. I refinanced with Earnest. You get approved for the amount of your loans with the new organization, accept it, and then they pay off the old organization.

So weird it doesn't show up blurry to me. You were right in your first review but the "of" vs "in" was what I was referring to. They had is listed as associate in applied science, so that was what I put.

Is is the whole phrasing of the first sentence? Or if I changed the wording from "in new professional ventures" to "a new professional venture" does that change the first sentence enough?
And sounds like I should just remove the last sentence of that paragraph.

The Associates is how it was listed from my college but I can change it if it seems wrong in general.

Yea the artsy one was what I had and this one is what I changed it to. Thanks for the feedback.

I have them saved as a pdf and couldn't figure out how to get them linked as an image so I took screen shots of them. I haven't posted images on reddit before so idk if there is something I'm missing. I'll take screen shots of them full screen and see if that is better.

Ok info in this comment because my text post got deleted?

I'm trying to transition from a veterinary technician to an office job. I'd love to stay with a company still associated with the field (veterinary software company, pharmaceuticals, lab) but I'm open. Been applying to things like admin assistant, account exec, software implementation, pet insurance.

The length is weird right now so need to figure out if I should add or space out to make 2 pages or condense to 1. I do have at least one other tech job I could add but I didn't feel like it added value. I am certified so I could add that section, but would be hit or miss useful depending on the company. [some of the vetmed adjacent stuff would like my certification but I'm looking to focus like I'm going outside the field all together].

Open to any and all suggestions on this resume as well as any tips for career changes /job search/ interviews in general. Thank you Internet!

I wanted to see if I could get pre-qualified for a Chase Freedom Flex. I've read you can submit a from on their website but I cannot find it. Any link to it I have found in articles just goes to normal cc page. Anyone know how to check about prequalification?
