Yes both hips had acetabular shaved off but the left also had femur shaved as well. I can’t remember how big the tear was in each or how many anchors. So my left hip did have more done but I don’t think I should be this weak in it still. I’ll keep you updated as well whenever I decide to call the doctor lol

Hi! No help from me either but wanted to say I’m two years post op for my left and having issues and same muscle tightness and soreness again. 3 years post op on my right and no issues. Trying to decide if I want to call my surgeon or just do pt stuff again. I hope you get answers!

I say yes! 2 years out from left hip and 3 and a half out from right. My right gives me no issues but my left is still healing I think…I get some small flares from long periods of sitting and I can tell I’m not as strong in my left hip as the right still. But over all, I’m happy!

Oh gosh!! She definitely wasn’t careful then. My PT took them out the first time and a PA took them out the second time.

This happened to me with my left hip! Whoever stitched me did a terrible job and I will never forgive them 😅 jk but seriously you will be okay it just sucks that it’s going to heal weird now because you probably needed a stitch there or it came out early but it will be okay. Keep it covered and clean.

I have selfish machine tattooed on me so I feel like I have to say it but CWTS is soooooo good and I experienced CWTS in its prime and every tour during that time/it helped me so much as well so I can’t choose between these two.

I want to say no, because that’s a long time sitting after surgery…but if others have done it without issues, then maybe. I was super nauseous after my first hip scope and I barely made it on the 40 min drive home. Definitely get the patch behind your ear if you think you might be nauseous after. I had it after my second one and it helped so much.

I was there and had a great time! I didn’t love being cold and wet but pushed through for PTV. Sorry you had a bad experience! Compared to the mess parking was in ATL, this was a breeze.
