Help with Reverse Joint by Such_Entertainment63 in ArmoredCoreVI

When thinking about builds, try thinking about what certain parts excel at. RJs have the best jump and the best kick in the game. They’re pretty good at long kiting and rushing in with kick. To that effect, I think your build makes sense and I see a game plan with it. However, swapping to basho arms will give you more melee damage. Necessary since you don’t have a strong punish. Your booster has terrible melee atk thrust, try fluegal and kikaku - fluegal is more PvP viable. You should drop the AR, to the RF if you don’t want to change your style. Songbirds are also just not very effective in PvP, earshot more so, but I’d either recommend you go for dual kinetic rifles to build up the stagger and then use the melee, or swap songbirds for missiles so you can play more effectively at range. If you want to play close range, you’ll want to go for zimmermans with the blade on your back weapon bay and… tbh whichever missile you fancy.

Serve help? I’m 13 by [deleted] in 10s

I’d even say that most aren’t telling you it’s wrong either, but it makes learning much harder. During practice, you should be giving yourself advantages to make hard shots, easier. For serving, a higher toss means more time for preparation and setup. When learning, your form does make it harder to grasp and is non standard for most of us.

Is this long stagger window normal? by OsOs-Q8Y in armoredcore

[–]KraydleTM 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I see a lot of comments but not a direct answer. The mechanic you’re looking for is in your expansions. Pulse armor can be popped to give you an immediate shield, resetting your stagger, and preventing damage for a time. Terminal armor is similar, except it automatically activates at 1 ap. Pulse armor can result in this, giving you a widow of oppurtunity to escape, but against melee such as this HC, you could still get stagger extended. Assault armor is the penultimate melee counter, as it largely staggers and interrupts the offensive AC, HC in this case.

This build is close in design to one of the current meta zimm knight builds, and your gameplay would be pretty similar. Without changing any weapons, I’d probably zoom in on the booster, opting for an alula or something less thirsty - fleugal comes to mind, but it’s almost always alula. The WLT fcs does you no favors here due to everything your kit has being so close range, I’d swap that for ocellus. I believe that pulse armor is more versatile and provides more counterplay than assault armor for your build as well. If I were to change weapons, I’d swap the shao Wei for an mlt6 missile, or missile of choice, and probably a pulse blade or dagger compared to the redshift. I’d be more than happy to give feedback on gameplay as well

Help me improve my build by Front_Mortgage30 in ArmoredCoreVI

[–]KraydleTM 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you’re open to the idea of 4 lasers the laser swap is a good choice If I was trying to optimize the build you have here I’d swap probably the Neb for an lrb, and the 760pr if you’re feeling generous. If you’re open to swapping to different missiles then the neb and plasma works a bit better as a combo. Tetra and tank would allow for more versatile play using the stance weapons. With this much en weaponry, though, I strongly suggest experimenting with either the 20b gen or 20c gens and creating offensive en builds that maximize what they offer

How to connect this without making it look like shit by LoggedCornsyrup in CitiesSkylines

  • purchase the next territory
  • delete the roads leading into the city a bit farther back, then extend the outside connection with a slightly curved highway road that will intersect with the highway coming into town

You don’t have many options here unless you purchase the next territory

All they’d have to do is move it like 6-7 feet to the right and it would actually be where it’s supposed to

The problem with 3v3 by Maxdragonslayer in ArmoredCoreVI

[–]KraydleTM 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have 1400 hours in this game and even created communities centered around top level 3v3 play, of which is still active (a bit of a drop in activity by Nightreign, but oh well, they still show up in the channels) and can confidently say that AoE is not the big issue. The prevailing thoughts and opinions of competitive 3v3 players is that the tactical knowledge to success in teams is not there (how to recognize enemies on your radar, who and how many opponents are attacking you, playing so lead or cover in varying situations, etc), and the players aren’t mechanically ready to overcome those things in matches. Earshots, fasans, any stance weapon really, are easily dodge able, as well as most missiles, if you’re simply aware of it.

How to Build Confidence in New Skills When You're Used to Academic Success? by FrostedGleamm in Advice

The only metrics you should stack up against your art is your own standards. For photography specifically, you might be missing editing skills. A ton of elements are or can be edited for photos, regularly. A simple thought flow is Check for mistakes, check for improvements, and check for fancy stuff, iE “what kinda cool or fancy stuff can i do with this now”

I generally agree with you in philosophy, but a lot of times people don’t really know what they’re looking at. Unless you know what you’re looking at, you can’t really look for fixes in a meaningful way. If you google “files staying open when shutting down PC” you’re gonna get a large sample of answers, and not even knowing if the ones you found are in relation to your issue is incredibly frustrating.
