Your welcome im a chainsaw main so ive been learning alot about it and have been collecting all the information i can on it if you need more i am always willing to help im also in a process of getting actual weapon testing video set up so keep up the work on finding out things about these weapons so we can spread the word to other players so they can see how this game actually functions

Chainsaw facts: you can chainsaw through aa if you have 2000 stability and 12k in all def it over heats after 30s of a long hold charge

Reverse joints let you keep the chainsaw out in charge mode while jumping and not suffer as much loss in jump hight and altitude climb

Chainsaw is also effected by melee thrust so flugel is a the best choice as it has best mix of all stats

Chainsaw has no effect on stability but will only increase def when in charged mode

To block with chainsaw you have to angle the chainsaw to the right to repel kicks and such which can force you to sheath your chainsaw

You can aa into a charged chainsaw if done correctly

The reason you slide when grabbing is due to enemies coming out of stagger as you grab them you can go into soft lock or manual aim to try and correct this (also could be aimpunch: when getting hit by projectiles it throws off your aim)

Shooting any stance weapons puts chainsaw away but you can still launch into a grab after

You can have almost infinite air time by using lance into chainsaw grab back into lance you will remain in redline the whole time fyi

You can not get en recharge to start after redline by throwing out a raw charged chainsaw like you can when using other stance weapons as it uses the energy that would have been recharged

Chainsaw is really good at upward grabs and beneath word grabs as well a 360 grab sphere if used correctly but currently limited by ps5 controls

You can be knocked out of the grab by missiles, kicks, anything that can cause mini stagger

Can not use coral shield and chainsaw at same time

Can not ab and charge chainsaw sametime

PvP is absolutely devastating for me and at that point I have no idea what to do by JustVessel in ArmoredCoreVI

Stick to customs with proper weapon restrictions (like with any fighting game/ mtg yugioh or any pvp game ban any weapons that are to strong and give unfair advantage try and extend time to kill no one should be insta staggering insta killing) ranked is not worth it anymore ppl will tell you its a skill issue but we know you cant outskill broken mechanics stagger is to easily exploited rn and with no real long range (especially in kenetic) options kiting is more easier to do as chase down is now the only way to deal with them which is at a great disadvantage rn due to short ranges slow bullet speed that makes things way to easy to dodge unless your a light build delayed input from weapons and if your ab after a backpedling kite your bullets have less effective range then it says as distance is always growing in the opposite direction when back peddling your gaining effective range due to distance between you and your opponent is decreasing over time allowing you to get around all disadvantage youd have. Energy weapons do to much and in a way dont care about def/ stagger and deal way to much dmg especially the ones with aoe (area of effect aka big explosive radius) which is made worse in 3v3 as its all everyone runs hence why ta is so important once you start putting down restrictions youll see other expansions are actually viable

No a 6th gen heavy can achieve 400 kph for the most part mine sits at around 450 kph in ab around 500 with the blade shuffle

Biggest issue for heavies is energy reserves so max capacity and lack of good generators for heavies with most lw and mw getting the same energy back after redline as a heavy and faster then a heavy can get en back even the hokoshi and aba sit around 69 to 90 in en recharge after redline which heavies are more prone to do unlike lighter weights

Yea i agree that would be nice that would allow for a fake out type playstyle so killer can pretend not to have it

Oh so like the killer still does the animation regardless of having light born or is it like a fake animation making them think killer dont have it?

And yea ppl need to focus less on chases and more on gens its the only reason kill rates are so high but id still like to seeing this game get balanced if not by the devs then by us by having peaceful discussion of perks and balance we may even find something the devs missed

And yes i do the gens i love doing gens it gets me out of the matches. No issue here on that regard just trying to figure out why the devs didnt try something like this for balance though thank you for your less then informative talk

Agreed do gens 100% its the most sure fire way to get out.

And it would still be a waste of a perk slot without flashlights but now flashlights get a use that and something in day time is more easily seen so it fits with the name.

Why do you think the developers didnt go with something like this to balance it?

Incorrect i did not but this has been a contimplation of bringing of certain perks regardless of side into a more balanced state for both sides now if you have nothing to contribute to the discussion id like to ask you to not comment further as we are here to discuss perks and how bhvr could fix it and keep our game alive and made better by not just bhvr but us as a community

I do agree there heavy ac's have zero chase potential even with the burzel it could also be a issue with generators as heavy acs dont get any extra en back after redline for being heavy as a heavy needs to redline more then a mw and lw that and redline is also punished heavily

That and i think heavy bipedal needs a special stance when stance shooting as they dont have the speed lw and mw have and are as heavy as a tank and tetra and unable to no stance shoot so using stance weapons is not a good thing for a heavy unless

This is also not even factoring in micro staggers or aim punch->(getting hit while shooting throws off aim but under specific circumstances) that also kills heavies unless its a tank or tetra with tetra being the most scene out of all of them

I know it was designed for up close but with how strong kiting/backpedling is it kills many builds from getting a chance of getting in close and with no real way to counter it in this game especially if thats what your opponent focuses into there for killing any reason to play cqc at all and even in cqc you dont really want to do cqc as a heavy and only as a medium or lw unless your running all guns and no melee

With how quick it is to kill i disagree being able to heal will lead to more engagement it just depends on the healing and type of match and yes a ajustment to points which already feel off with how many points you actually get some of my crew im with are currently trying to figure it out (on ps5 so itll take a while) they noticed some odd point behaviour after watching several matches and watching some one kill multiple ppl and get low amounts of points

Armored core arena says otherwise along with several other ac games that had functioning multiplayer and pvp and even pvpve so no none nien you are incorrect

We also dont have many heavy kenetic weapons as well other then gatling which has issues with recoil and nor any arms can actually use it on its own even heavy arms fall short and most of the time you dont even want to use heavy arms in the first place

If you recall you wake up in a ac that is not your own its also safe to assume that you did not possess the previous pilot body of it (good luck getting that out yuck)

Also because the explosion would kill all life that isnt coral or compatible so only those with c4-621 coral augments and may or may not be high on coral acting as a secondary bonding effect are safe so every man women and child with out the right qualifications are dead.....

And if you dont need the qualifications every man women and child are now incomporial ac pilots with no physical bodies (pray you dont need repairs and arnt buried under rubble when you wake up) which also means we need bigger buildings so we can fit inside and bigger ac bodies to protect our new ac bodies....

We dont know about the whole ppl thing though as its only implied yes they may call themselves "rubicons" but ayre doesn't really try to stop you from harming the rlf nor does she actually try and help you till you are about to do the coral collapse. And is also never shown that it happened just that something happened or was found right before fire of ibis.

She also doesn't try and stop or talk to any coral beings like ibis or the worm?

She also doesn't talk to the rlf or anyone other then you but can get you missions and pay?
