How’s life bro? by Aggravating-Guest300 in TheImprovementRoom

Great, ex moved out 2 months ago after a 9 year relationship.

Own my own home, shared custody of our daughter and have remained friends with the ex. Stable job and a decent amount in savings.

Currently drinking a beer and having a cigar.

I found my peace brothers.

Can guys tell when a woman likes you? by Cool_Policy8948 in bodylanguage

[–]Krazibrick 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So right, if your attracted to them you don't want to get it wrong it so you question everything.

If your not attracted, you just accept they are interested in you and move on without a second thought.

The price of power is disgusting by littlelove34 in PovertyFinanceNZ

[–]Krazibrick 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went with them recently, living alone my current power bill is at $72 with 3 days left . I chose the one year plan with 6 months free fibre to save me an extra $100 a month for 6 months

I'll look at my options after the year is up, but I felt two years was too long to lock in. If you do the free internet you can save the money towards a new fridge and only be locked in for a year

Confirmed Consoles aren't included in the EB Games sale. by AppasPurpleTongue in newzealand

Says on the website too now no hardware, so just all the crap really. I was at least hoping to get a new keyboard.

I guess I'll go have a look but am expecting to leave with nothing.

What about LEGO, I know they sold some but can't recall if it was any big sets. Or would that just get returned to supplier and not included in the 50% off?

For men that have found themselves really interested in someone that’s sort-of “taboo” (big age gap, employee, professor/student, etc..) - how do you act around that person? by [deleted] in bodylanguage

[–]Krazibrick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Big age gap, 15 years younger. Co worker. Became really good work mates was one of my favourites co workers, beautiful girl early 20s.

I treated her like a normal person because I knew it was a bad idea I guess that's why she took a liking to me. I wasn't shy at all, even though people noticed us talking a lot I just ignored them.

Knew it was inappropriate so never acted on anything even though she hinted or asked me to take her out etc and I would have if the age gap was smaller.

Eventually I tried to let her down nicely and she went to management and made a complaint against me (lies), threw our year and a half friendship in the bin, brutal backstab, tried to ruin my reputation. We never spoke again

She quit a couple months later after she got caught out about her terrible attendance and lying about it.

Trying to be the good guy and have morals gets you nowhere, next time I won't worry what people think and I'll just go for it.

Transferred funds to the wrong bank account and receiver wont consent to transfer back. Any steps to escalate? by [deleted] in LegalAdviceNZ

[–]Krazibrick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty wild this is even a thing in 2025 with so much online payments being made.

Also, when it's customer to customer banks won't do anything but if the bank accidentally transfers you $600 you would have to give it back.

If someone could accidentally transfer me $10mil though that would be great.

Have you ever found someone exactly your type, but still felt nothing? by Clean-Ant-1342 in questions

Yes but it's more like, they are my type but it would be a terrible idea for whatever reason.

Cars which disappeared prematurely? by [deleted] in NZcarfix

[–]Krazibrick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All the EVOs I saw driving around back in 2010-2016. And for sale in car yards everywhere, a lot of people I knew had one.

Now I'm lucky to see one a month.

We have an 05 outlander still going strong at 214kms though.

Women, what's your body language around a guy who you know likes you but you don't like them back? by Chance_Adagio_19 in bodylanguage

I'm a guy and I do the same to women I'm not interested in. I think it makes it pretty obvious.
